They only showed one system afaik but the name implies that there will be different versions to choose from.

A slim or boosted version is basically inevitable eventually but if it's only starting with a single SKU then I don't get why they'd call this single system a series.

Unfortunately yes. They don't even sell the old version that you can keep any more.

You can use the REALLY old version for free........but IIRC it probably doesn't even work on modern hardware.

I take my Switch with me to my friend's place and I can just pop it right into his toaster unit and it goes right onto his TV. And he can play on his in handheld (or vice versa), I really enjoy how easy it is.

Us--garbage movie IMO

Doctor Sleep--pretty great, I really enjoyed it.

Ready or Not--very fun, I also loved this movie.

Midsommar--it's fine. I don't love it but it's good.

The Lighthouse--fun. Maybe a bit too nebulous/meandering.

That scenario is pretty terrifying tbh. You make best friends with this weird harmless thing knowing you'll be reunited in twenty years. But when it comes back, it's violent and belligerent instead of peaceful, and it has you in its sights.

I never played NMH but always considered it. I can see myself getting this one if it's good, I especially love how much flair these games have.

Gay parents tend not to happen because of accidental pregnancies...having a higher average salary than straight couples helps too.

Those are my guesses for why studies have shown children of gay parents to be better adjusted than children raised by straight ones

I think it does...both before and after life, your consciousness/sentience doesn't exist. That means you aren't there to experience anything either way.

It's like asking the difference between a nonexistent horse and a nonexistent pig.

If you think consciousness/sentience continues after you die, then we hit a wall where we just disagree. Because everything we know tells us our sentience is in our brains. And yeah, it is sad to imagine that we die and this is all we have. If there IS consciousness after we die, it could be great bonus. But there's no reason to think there is, so I just try to make the best of the life I know I have.

You won't have one after death either, so you (your consciousness) will literally not exist any more and won't be capable of fear (or anything else)

The fear of death dies the moment you go braindead. Which is kind of ironic tbh. You spend your life fearing the nothingness after death and then when it actually comes you don't even exist to experience it.

Just stop thinking about life and consciousness as if it only exists for you. Your death knocks out your consciousness the same way it has done for everybody who's died in the past. Similar to how you don't know what it is to experience being somebody else, death removes that experience for yourself also.
