The jokes are exactly what I expected -Chinese people say ra instead of la and then they beat you over the head with that joke for a full minute -Then they serve food that's WILD and NUTS to us westerners, and the good christian family is horrified that the duck still has its head on -Then the narrator voice-over reminisces "OH TEH OLD DAYS" I watched this movie when I was like 20 and I can see why boomers would like it I guess. The fact is movies pander to straight people constantly and nobody bats an eye so people should stop whining about pandering to gay people. Characters who are gay shouldn't be so heavily scrutinized "WHY IS THIS CHARACTER GAY, what was the reason, it's just pandering" when characters don't get the same degree of scrutiny for being straight.
