I would imagine that even people who are super progressive are more likely to be interested in romance stories that they can relate to. Gay people are probably more interested in gay romance. I mean, that just makes sense to me lol.

The majority are straight, therefore the majority depiction in media will be straight.

So how many mainstream media movies and tv shows depict a gay main character then? We are very underrepresented and it's not fair to say "well you're the minority so don't expect to get represented properly"

No, you don't. I realize a lot of people pronounce it ree-yu, and that is fine for reasons I said earlier. The sound isn't in English so it's hard and whatever you say is fine if people can understand it. But there is no ee sound at all when you say it in Japanese. It's a combination of r and yu. The closest example in English is Kyu (q), but replace the k with r.

Also for those curious, riyu (ree-yu) is a Japanese word meaning reason that is very common. and don't sound similar.

So the ee sound is still there...it's just spoken quickly like a flick of the tongue. I'm not trying to type the exact phoneme here, I know it's not quite an "eee" sound but it's close enough for people to get the point. I would say that Q has an eee sound in it btw, the way I pronounce it.

Golden Retrievers and Labradors are the most overrated, boring-ass dog breeds by far. They're not cute, they're just bland and ugly, and generally stupid, and they'll eat anything voraciously, even poo and vomit and inedible things--more than other dog breeds. (They don't just chew things up--they swallow them.) They also smell awful because of their double coat and the special oil their skin secretes. When I go into somebody's house with a labrador or a golden retriever it always smells bad, more than other breeds.

They're the most boring and basic dog breeds, they're the dogs people think they should buy when they haven't done any research into breeds. And you ask them what kind of dog they're gonna get, and they just shrug and say, IDK...just a normal dog. But these dogs have high energy requirements and therefore usually end up tearing up people's homes because their owners didn't do the research to find out that they need lots of exercise. So not only is the dog itself bad, but it also tends to be owned by bad owners. And most of them are awfully trained and badly behaved.

When I see labradors and golden retrievers, I try to avoid them.

Each one has a different usage. Some spawn more narcissism than others. I think Instagram and Facebook can be harmful because they make it easy to get envious of other people, and they encourage narcissism. They are also very invasive. But at least facebook provides a good way of reaching people you know.

that was a great direct. For the first 2 thirds they basically showed some new gameplay mechanic every 5 seconds. New story mode, multiplayer gameplay that you can do online competitively or cooperatively.

And the voucher thing is cool too. People with Switch online can effectively buy games for $50 instead of $60 as long as they commit to getting two games. (You pay $100 and get two vouchers to spend on any $60 games, they last for a year and can be spent separately)

Your question assumes I want to be accepted by religions, when in reality all I want is for religious people to reject the parts of their religion that denounce me for being gay just like they reject the other parts they don't like (like condemnation of shellfish or mixing fabrics).

IMO that isn't "being accepted by religion." It's just pruning away the bad parts of the religion to fit our modern sensibilities. It's changing the religion. You are obligated to ignore the blatantly immoral parts of your holy scripture that violate human rights. I doubt there is a single person on earth who fully obeys all the rules of the quran or bible. You just can't do that. I expect people to reconcile their religion with our evolving understanding of reality and morality. One day I expect religions to be mostly accepting of LGBT people.

To be practical it's obvious that won't happen globally for a while. Which means that my expectations on people for the short term is that they should be pressured to at least *tolerate* lgbt people even if we can't get them to actually accept us. And eventually they'll get to the point where they completely throw away their backwards opinions and don't even have to tolerate us.
