You can identify as whatever you want. That's none of my business. But I'm not going to believe a dog is a horse just because the dog thinks it is.

Do you also refuse to acknowledge adoptive parents as "real parents" just because they aren't the biological parents? It's the same douchiness. Extend the same courtesy.

Yeah, I did, cats are awesome. Doesn't mean I agree with your views on trans people. But you seem open to learning, I'm just not about to do so right now since I'm at work and even though I have time to respond I have a headache that is effing with me.

My dad worked.

My mother stayed with me as a full time mother.

If anything happened to my mother, my dad picked up the slack.

My partner identifies as genderqueer and that's fine with me. They lived for years as a transman, detransitioned and now don't identify as man or woman. I understand that easily and respect it. Sometimes even I slip up with pronouns but it doesn't cause any issues. I don't get why it's so hard for certain people to accept the way others feel about their own bodies and minds. They/them is the best pronoun for everyone anyway.

Historically, it was always an entire village or tribe. That only really changed in the last 3500 years. :l Since then, women would take a break from working until the child was old enough to function without direct oversight at all times.

The mother can be evil as well.

Exposure to others will help expand the variety of people the kid is introduced to during their formative years. Plus they'll learn at an early age that there are more to bonds than just blood relations. One big problem in recent generations is that we focus on ourselves rather than teaching kids that they're part of a greater society and they need to learn how they fit in and can impact it.

My dad became broken, my mother not.

Even at 73, she's still a workoholic.

People can certainly feel that way, but it seems to simply be a personal rejection of societal labels in favor of their own. As long as it's not detrimental to anyone else, there's no reason not to be polite and accept what they feel.

also imo its good and healthy to question yourself! but for me personally, i find its more fulfilling to ask yourself what is it that you personally want, rather than what labels you think should apply. being like "this is who i am, was, and always will be" feels so stagnant
