I've never really watched it. I've seen some episodes, but I don't have a clear memory of any episode that stands out as something I like. The Gamecube game was lit tho.

When King Of The Hill does celebrity cameos they are usually the villains or you won't realize it's a cameo until you see their name in the credits.

I don't know which season but I stopped watching new episodes around the year 2009. That was when I started college so I mostly stopped following because I just got busier, not necessarily because I was hating the episodes I was watching.

I watch older episodes on FXX from time to time, since they marathon that show all the time.

I feel like my cutoff is around 2005-2007. It's solid until the early 2000s, but loses a lot of steam, but around episodes in that range (not sure what season that is), it starts to get really bland and pretty hard to sit through.

Looking at IMDB, it looks like Season 14 (2002-2003) is the last season where I recognize most of the episodes.

Season 14 is when the bad episodes outnumber the good episodes.

Season 10, imo, is the last of the golden age. Seasons 11-13 have some classics, though - albeit more few and far between.

I'm actually going thru the show where I uh...left off back in season 13. I'm going to skip the stinkers in season 14, but I'm looking forward to hopefully finding some classics between seasons 15-??

I can agree with that. After season 14, I've seen maybe 20 total episodes, a lot of those coming from my viewing in syndication at 11:30pm the past few weeks.

I stopped tuning in religiously around season 12 or 13 and stopped totally when I went to college, using not knowing the channels and schedule in the new area as my excuse.

Edit: I did go to the theater to see the movie, though.

After the 2000s, viewership became intermittent. I just can't believe there are die hard fans who have stuck with the series from its inception or that enough new fans would've joined in the 17th season to justify its continuation.

The ratings are higher than I thought. For Fox:

After about 10 seasons you stop watching The Simpsons and you watch Futurama instead.

I have seen fewer than ten episodes of the Simpsons throughout my entire life.

I've seen like 10 seasons of Family Guy and the entire original run of Futurama, though.

Season 11 is around where most of the humor starts falling flat. Behind the Laughter is probably a good stopping point since that was the last legitimately funny episode for me. After that it got more and more embarrassing to watch.
