Part 4 is forever my favorite although I have still yet to read parts 7 and 8. Okuyasu is a total bro and I love the combination of him having an OP stand power but being dumb as a brick. Makes you wonder what he could do with The Hand if he had more than one braincell.

That whole part with the electric tower could have been skipped of Okuyasu wasn't an idiot. He could literally just stand inside the tower and keep pulling the dude back into it. He also could have used it at the very end to close the gap between Kira and Jotaro.

He really does have one of the strongest stands in the series but never used it when he really should have.

Honestly this was overall the best part so far.

There were a few things I didn't really like. Seems like they intentionally dumbed down Jotaro for plot convenience. Like literally "I thought the rain sounding like Josuke screaming for help" what the fuck that shit would have never happened in Stardust Crusaders.

I think my favorite character of the bunch is Rohan. He was very realistic I felt in that basically he goes from zero to heaven's door in 0.5 seconds which is really smart and totally what someone with that power would do. I also really liked Reimi even though she was a minor character.

Kira was okay as a main villain. I think they were really generous with how easily they let him escape the first time but I suppose it was necessary to have a second half of the story.

I was kind of hoping Joseph would use Hamon to heal Okuyasu's dad. Seemed like an easy enough thing to do that wouldn't have hurt anything but whatever.

I only watched 2 episodes of part 5 so far but I'm pretty hyped. This part his the ground running.

Yes, the series has been stagnant and boring for years now and it's nice to have a new take on the game.

I doubt I'll ever be interested in playing a mainline game after this.

Legends Arceus is a mainline game as per GF themselves so we are definitely seeing more of it in the future.

There's a lot of room for improvement so I'm very excited to see where they are going with it in the future.

I did play around with some anaglyph 3D video games though. It was alright.

Okay right basically it starts out with all new characters because Cloud and all the other characters got killed off screen by Don Corneo who managed to survive after you saw him last. And there's like 50 characters for no reason because you can still only use 3 at a time but it's gonna be cool trust me.

Also it's revealed that Aerith didn't really die after being stabbed by Sephiroth she was just comatose and she merged with the corpse of Jenova with the Mako energy becoming the "devourer of life stream" and she's the new final boss.

If any of you recall those Hitler react memes, the scene on the movie is basically reflecting on a time when they could no longer lie to him and had to spell out that the forces he thought he had didn't really exist.

Of course that was more like a months long affair and not a single briefing like the movie suggests it was but that's essentially what happened.

I suppose a cogent argument along those lines is that the Constitution outlines rights for the United States of America, and since there were people during the Civil War who were threatening the stability of that nation, suspending habeas corpus was justified. The tricky legal aspect here is that they were still citizens of the United States, albeit potential revolutionaries, and thus constitutional rights were still applicable.

It's more like there was intense gross constitutional violations being perpetrated on black people in the south and a less severe & temporary yet unconstitutional measure to immediately stop that is an acceptable trade.

Maybe it would be a little different if Lincoln began conducting mass executions but there's nothing to suggest the rights violations perpetrated by the union even come close to what happened in the confederacy.

Just because it's written in the constitution doesn't mean it's the right thing to do at all times. If it was, there wouldn't be an amendment process. Rule of law is only important as long as people are adhering to it. An open rebellion is the exact opposite of rule of law.

Anything he had to do to preserve the union was justified even in hindsight.
