tl;dr

Leveling up on the raft is a terrible idea because you lose esper bonuses.

Unless you play with T Edition that removes the esper bonuses.

Yeah. Most of them are harmless though.

FF6 in particular is much easier than the ones that came before it.

Use T-Edition mod to improve the difficulty.

You can get Armsmaster at any point, provided you have a rusty weapon.

You have to run through level 40 areas to get there though.

The normal jobs are all in level 10 areas.

Octopath 2 is different. Normal jobs are early game, advanced jobs are basically impossible to get until the end. Literally in the case of the conjurer where you have to beat Hikari's story just to get access to the place to do the quest for it.

Inventor is an exception it's right outside Thron starting area

That's not true. Once you unlock subjobs he can get a sub like dancer that has skills to break anything.

Some of them you have to go a little bit out of the way for but most of them you can get 1 license by chapter 1.

I think apothecary is the only one that's in an obnoxious place.

Trials of Mana. Have to get the mana collection. The remake isn't co-op.

I have to admit Temenos is pretty screwed over. Osvald gets a cool focus supercharge latent ability, while Temenos... gets to play the game.

Best one is Thron. She can basically go infinite.

It's just a permanent missable due to a glitch.

A softlock means you must reset the game or load a save to continue. If you have to start over from the beginning that's a game breaker.

That doesn't sound right unless you literally just didn't file taxes last year
