He actually continued to do movies for a bit but they were not successful. His move to voice acting was not driven primarily by preference.

Really though, the way to break out of typecasting is to get a big role before the series wraps. Sylvester Stallone had a few bombs outside of the Rocky series before making bank with First Bood (Rambo). Harrison Ford starred in two Star Wars movies before becoming Indiana Jones. It seems like when you have your second big role, that's when people (and studios) see you as more than just an extension of the character you're most famous for playing.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was very opposed to his casting in Terminator because having a debut as the bad guy generally does not help. Predator basically got made for him to have a major protagonist role. It turns out that it was kind of unnecessary and he was just fucking great in general.

Harrison Ford is the only ones who escaped successfully. Mark Hamill's movie career tanked and he did nothing else of any real significance besides the joker.

Samuel L Jackson doesn't count because he was already mega famous. Every one else, Boyega, Ridley, Driver, & Isaac were all just starting their careers and it's basically over for them. They will get B-listed at best.

No. As it stands 90% of Republicans are against impeachment. Many of them say their minds cannot be changed. Of the ones who say their minds could be changed, if you ask for an example of what could change their mind the responses are things like "actual crimes"

In order for removal to have a real chance at success, that 90% anti-impeachment statistic has to drop to 40% or so within the next few days.

They can't do nothing, they have to vote. They can choose to skip all witness testimony and evidence if they really want but they still have to vote. It's not an option to just do nothing.

If the Republicans get up and leave, then Trump will get removed since it only needs 2/3rds of the votes and not 2/3rds of everyone in the Senate.
