If you get modded, it's because you broke the rules. They're really not hard to follow. I can count on one hand the number of times I've been modded that I didn't see coming (lumping one large-scale batch of moderations into a single count, since it was all for the same thing at the same time and was a consequence of a mod nuking an ASCII topic). If you can't, it's because you suck at following the rules. Do better.

Pedestrians always have the right of way unless you're in the way.

The problem is that some people driving 2 vehicles, especially truck drivers, seem to forget that notion and believe they have the right of way, and ignoring that, as a pedestrian, can easily get you killed. In my experience, doing endless amount of jogging, a pedestrian needs to assume that all drivers are idiots and will NOT give you way, especially in roundabouts, which are very, very deadly.
