People are generally not independent thinkers until around age 12. Raise them typically until then. Little kids are idiots and can't be trusted to define such enormous things. Hospitals don't operate on a "rate" of sick people dude. They have a fixed capacity integer. Even if the rate of cases ending in deaths is going down, if total cases are still going way up then hospitals can absolutely hit capacity

The problem is most likely hardware components issues. As a current example, look at the availability of graphic cards and CPU's. Both of them keep going in prices and are almost never available because the manufacturers aren't producing enough of them. And since most companies depend on said manufacturers to produce parts for their consoles... The result ends up being not enough units being produced.
