We have forsaken God and thrown aside the teachings of Jesus.

The championing of rationalism has led to the decline of Christianity. Unfortunately, it threw the baby of moral objectivity out with the bathwater. Regardless of how you felt about the morality, the loss of certain fundamental virtues are worth lamenting.

We have no loyalty to our people or nation.

Since the 1960s/1970s, education has been less focused on promoting civics and more focused on instilling a more cynical perspective on the national heritage, applying a magnifying glass to the worst of it and whitewashing a number of more important virtues and developments. Meaningfully reforming education could legitimately fix things in a generation or so.

Our institutions are corrupt.

A sick society leads to sick institutions. Though public institutions in general eventually end up corrupt as they attract psychopaths and narcissists, and therefore the minimization of them and the absolute power they collectively weld within certain constraints is imperative.

We have no virtue, only shame.

Addressed already.

I am disgusted to the point of nauseous vomit.

This is unfortunately why many have come to drop out of society. But it is still a worthwhile fight, but understanding the roots of the issues is the first step. The second is to raise awareness and take practical action however one is best suited - starting with cleaning up the vomit.

We behave like pigs.

As society becomes averse to personal responsibility, so to has society become averse to pragmatic cooperation and thus the human decency such interaction requires.

We drink and eat while walking.

I honest to god have never seen this. It seems uncomfortable and messy.

We talk like thugs.

To be fair, vernacular evolves.

Every word is profanity.

Changing attitudes. I'm not too optimistic about this trend reversing, though it is symptomatic of our ability to express ourselves more eloquently. Perhaps declining quality of education and again our aversion to deferral of gratification - a must with respect to refinement of one's literacy - is the culprit, in which case fixing education might be a solution.

We disrespect our elderly.

I cannot comment on this, as I'm not sure this is systemic.

We tear down the monuments of our ancestors and spit on their graves.

The issue with modern radical progressives is that they get off on symbolic victories over intrinsically measurable and sustainable achievements, without much regard for the nuanced perspectives that value the objects of their iconoclasm. With that said, if the monuments were on private property, this would be far less of a problem - if it's in the commons, anything can happen.

Our society is crumbling.

Lack of accountability to self, to community, and lack of trust in one's neighbor. The first, from absolution of consequence; the second, from barriers to such; the third, from the first on the part of others and the decline of universality of fundamental values in society.

We are obese.

Industries producing unhealthy lobby for subsidies for themselves and barriers to healthier food producers.

We are covered in tattoos and piercings.

Really not a big fan of tattoos, but it does seem to be changing attitudes regarding them. With any luck, the trend will pass and later generations will frown on them like our predecessors.

We have dreadlocks and beards and long hair.

Again, changing attitudes, though beards and longer hair come and go. Just trends for the most part that presumably will not last.

We wear sunglasses.

Sunglasses are the eternal fashion statement.

We dress garishly and immodestly like trash.

I do hope this trend will pass, but so long as the social zeitgeist which rebels against all that is decent continues, it will persist and get worse. I do believe there will eventually be pushback.

Our women expose their cleavage like

This has become rampant because anyone who dares speak out is labeled a sexist. The mentality is that the male brain can somehow be melded to not be aroused by the exposed female form, which simply is not the case. With respect to such an irrational mentality, I do believe there will also be pushback.

Casual sex is rampant.

This reflects a society that has become increasingly averse to deferral of gratification. Why? Because there is an assumption of, and an entitlement to absolution from personal responsibility on the bill of others - whether it's taxpayers for the medical ramifications or support of the products of unexpected pregnancies in the absence of gainful employment.

I am deeply discomforted by white nationalists/supremacists and strongly disagree with what they advocate, but that is not to say this wave of censorship and cloud asset seizures isn't unsettling.

These sites have been around for years, decades even with Stormfront. While I applauded the Daily Stormer being taken down because of its unprofessional, irresponsible, blatantly hateful, and quite frankly unethical journalistic practices, Stormfront in spite of its views has a reputation for very carefully policing and moderating the posts and conduct of its users. In short, it's being shut down for having the "wrong" views, and not for any sort of illegal conduct or violation of the clear-and-present-danger principle.

What's more, driving their discourse from the surface web means they will simply regroup elsewhere less visible - private chats, the deep web, etc. - where their ideas and plans are less readily available to be scrutinized by the general public and engaged in debate by those who disagree. It will reinforce their victim complex, and simultaneously, the echo chamber they exist within, which is a dangerous combination.

To my understanding, the public works projects of the New Deal weren't racially exclusionary and paid fair wages. That was all really. FDR was otherwise pretty racist, and Truman was former klansman, though he shifted the party to a more civil-rights oriented position, leading to the '48 Democrat-Dixiecrat rift.

The Republicans remained the more universally liberal party into the 1960s, after which it split between the Libertarian and Rockefeller types - still pretty liberal though, just not radical.

Anyone paying attention to Antifa's conduct over the past several months - and its targets, some of which have been the antithesis of fascist - is well aware that the violence is not one-sided, and Trump was correct to condemn violence on both sides.

"Fine people on both sides" was a dumb remark on Trump's part though. There's really nothing redeeming about the racialist half of the alt-right that converged on Charlottesville last weekend.
