Leaving only because of the bounties and doing absolutely nothing else would be very bad, yes. That's effectively sticking a "Kick Me" sign on the back of the country while also giving Russia an inflated sense of "Hey, this works and we should try it against others."

Here's the DSM on it. Anagram's dad does not fit the profile.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK519704/table/ch3.t29/#:~:text=Table%203.29DSM-5

A habit of accumulating things doesn't make you a hoarder. Hoarders need to be keeping things that can have no possible use, e.g. broken appliances, garbage, random fliers, waste.

Also, the fact that he is willing to work at decluttering his storage space is a good indicator that he is not a hoarder.

You don't have to have the disorder to be a hoarder. Half the reason people become hoarders in the first place is because nobody tells them early on that they have a problem, so they keep hoarding more and keep getting more and more obsessive.

Going "he's not a hoarder if he doesn't fit the profile of the disorder" is a dismissive take that doesn't really help anything, because in practice it just gets worse and worse if you don't stop it early. You've gotta acknowledge the problem early before it actually becomes an extreme case.

Yeah I get that there's more stuff that you haven't shown, but it's still not hoarding (let alone "major" hoarding) until the clutter starts to affect his ability to live a normal life.

Hoarders have s*** piled up in their house to the point where they can no longer have guests or use their kitchen or whatever.

You're a hoarder before you get to that point. Those are just the most extreme cases. Being a hoarder just effectively means you have an inability to get rid of stuff to an abnormal degree.

Otherwise it's like saying you're not a diabetic if you haven't lost a foot.

I don't know why they wouldn't be able to jump better than humans. They're otherwise above normal human strength as it is, not sure why that wouldn't include leg muscles.

I think the idea of "Why can they jump?" comes from the average portrayal of zombies/the undead/etc. basically being that they're mindless, unthinking monsters driven purely by an instinct to feed/kill/whatever. Logically, such things become stronger because their brain is no longer holding them back from damaging their own bodies. But by that same token, they lose mobility by not having the thought/planning to jump, climb, and so on. Something with no brain/ability to think shouldn't really be able to jump a gap because it's not natural movement.

That said, it's been so long since I played TLoU1, and I haven't played 2 yet, so I can't recall how the infected in these games compare to other mediums when it comes to brain activity and so on. I just understand where Menji's question comes from overall.

Nah, Mortal Kombat is on my list of "will never get into Smash;" I think partially family friendlying characters like Snake and Bayonetta was one thing (same would go for Lara Croft should she get in), but the entire appeal of Mortal Kombat is how gory and violent it is. I just don't see how they could add a Mortal Kombat character and make it even remotely satisfying, or worthwhile.

And we're still talking about the wrong Akira haha

I would have agreed 100% if Mortal Kombat vs. DC didn't exist, where one of Scorpion's fatalities is literally just taking his mask off and blowing fire with no gore whatsoever. They've been willing to tame stuff down before.

Also, in regards to Sakurai just asking who the source material developers want in, IIRC that's what he does with Pokemon.

Right, but in the case of Pokemon it's not really asking "Who do you personally want in," he's basically asking "Who are you marketing?" It still comes down to who is being pushed as a "main" character, so to speak. If you look at the Pokemon chosen, they've all had movies or been majorly featured in the anime.

Eh, Iunno. They've never gone the "Hey, who do YOU want in?" route before. They've just taken whoever was the main player character. Or, in Pokemon's case, whoever was being marketed the most at the time.

It just seems weird to me that they suddenly cared who the director wanted this time but didn't ask the first time and just used Spring Man.

Like said, nothing is impossible, all we can do is assume things. I just personally find it weird that it went

"We want to put something from ARMs in."
"SPRING MAN!"

It kinda is because we're talking about six more spots that Sakurai totally wasn't planning on, and maybe reevaluating someone that was an AT already, two years later.

Yeah, but there's a definite difference in upgrading an AT to a new character in a whole new game, and adding a playable character with an AT that's already in that current game. Obviously it's not impossible, but it's sorta a completely different situation.

Also Sakurai can change his mind about the playability of a character. Little Mac was an AT in Brawl, and Isabelle was an AT in Smash 4, and both got upgraded to playable in the next game.

I mean as already stated, the district isn't the same as it began to begin with, so whether the territory went back to the states, or whether it became a state itself, there's no real argument against it happening again.

Then that should mean you shouldn't personally have a stance one way or the other. By specifically choosing "It shouldn't be a state," your answer becomes partisan, because even though both sides are making it a partisan issue, you're still choosing to side with your side of the aisle even though the same logic for why you're against it can be applied to them.

Occasionally happens and has no symbolism attached to it? It's not weird at all to see somebody, especially a black man, hanging from a tree, and think lynching is probable.

I assume it was not visibly obvious to election officials working inside the building that there was a continuous line of cars or people flooding the parking lot. Like they were inside, away from that. They go "oh it's 6, time to lock" and they walk over to the door and there's maybe a few people walking in and a few more 10 feet behind them. Etc. Not like a gigantic throng of people. They probably didn't even think twice. Stand there a minute and let the last nearby people hussle in and then lock up. Then suddenly 15 minutes later they're like whoa there's a lot more people than just your regular stragglers what is going on. Oh ok we need to open up again for a little bit.

Like this is all speculation but it just seems like the obvious way this would naturally play out.

There probably was not an election official looking at a huge line of cars going "sucks to suck, nerds!" but who knows.

They knew about it because Booker asked for the injunction prior to closing.
