This cover has some quality humorous visuals to it, that would make it very appealing to a younger generation of video game players. You have this otherwise quite ferocious dragon clearly looking in pain as Rayman pulls on the poor guy's tongue whilst Rayman's pal Murfy tugs on his nose ring. The artwork is heavily stylized in a good way and the elements that are front and center are well detailed. I could do without Barbara swinging her axe at nothing in the background as well as the washed out village.

I actually kind of like this cover in a so bad it's good way. It's just so ridiculous. The action-figure posed characters in their little boxes, the blue tiger notebook coloring that makes me feel like I'm in grade-school again, the awkwardly posed artwork on Ryu and Chun-Li in the main picture. I'm not sure if Chun-Li is supposed to be kicking Blanka (as would make sense) or cowering away in fear, moments from getting bowled over by this green mutant. I like that the "It's out to get you...!" tagline makes it seem Blanka is this really horrifying antagonist that chases you throughout the stages, and it also implies that this game is super-hardcore, the most extreme thing you'll ever play in your goddamn mundane life! It's super-cheesy and features some pretty bad artwork, but it's still got an undeniable charm to it.

A pretty standard shot of heroes fighting other heroes. This is the sort of stuff that gets fanboys going, but let's really take a look at this. I am not a fan of how everyone is just sort of floating, and what the hell is Spider-Man even attaching his web to? The perspective is wonky. I have no idea if the building to the left is close or far from the building Alpha Flight is on. Is Captain America jumping to his impending doom or he is going to make it? Who knows! The white circle around Talisman is tacky and looks really out of place and Vindicator looks pasted in. On top of all of this, the issue is actually about Avengers from a different reality, and Mr. Fantastic does not appear in the issue either. Covers that lie are the worst!

This is a pretty iconic cover for good reason. It was the first time gamers saw their favorite gaming mascot enter the 3D realm for the first time. The 3D globe to the right of Mario does a good job of showcasing what's in store for you when you pop this game in. However, while Mario still looks pretty good, the Goomba and Boo are lacking and placed a bit haphazardly. I can't knock this cover too much for its status alone, but it still manages to feel underwhelming and doesn't have many strong individual elements.

Pretty standard fantasy shot of barbarian-type characters here; the main hero raising his sword in the air is an overused cliche. I think Valeria fairs a little better, however her right leg is placed extremely awkwardly with her foot to the side. Why couldn't they just make her kneeling like normal? The red fire background is kind of nice but the birds are a little randomly placed. It's serviceable but extremely generic overall.

There are some elements to the design here that don't really click right with me but I like the overall feeling its striving for. The childlike character designs compared to the cosmic specters above feel disconnected to me, though it could be intentional. Also not a fan of the abstract endless void they're running on. Like I said though, the feeling of this is still there; something about the looming Earth, the looming legends, and the scary emptiness of space creates that sense of grandeur.

Let's ignore the fact that this is actually another poster for Atlas Shrugged II, and not actually the original Atlas Shrugged. I think it's pretty hard for the Atlas statue to look bad, and this globe-lifting Oscar looks incredible here, I'm liking the way the way the sun glints off the gold, with the darker coloring of the clouds making Atlas stand out like some sort of epic hero. I enjoy the way the globe envelopes around the poster, it gives it weight and presence. This is a pretty well designed poster for what it goes for, but ultimately there's just better posters and covers out there!

The artwork on this strategy board game is some quality stuff, but it's not very interesting as a cover. It portrays a man thinking hard over his next move, and it seems like he's just about ready to make one. I'm not overly familiar with the game so I can't judge this board set-up. I will say the artwork combined with the thinking man could make this game very appealing for an intellectual.

This is a perfect cover for children to be attracted to and pick this book up. The crayon-colored image is relatable and childlike, enough to represent a caterpillar and still look something a 5-year old would draw. It is indeed a very cute caterpillar as well, not gross enough or realistic enough to turn someone away. It's definitely well done for a cover that focuses on a single image.

I'll admit that personally I'm a little biased towards this cover, but to be fair this is as far as I will take it. It truly lives up to its nickname as the "Black Album" as the cover is all black aside from the Metallica logo and grey outline of a snake. There's not much going on but there's a lot of badassness in its simplicity. Of course, I could just really like snakes. >_> <_<

Gwendolyn has a great design and artwork here on the cover and she has almost a white glow compared to the darker and less pronounced characters that surround her. I don't think they are as well designed as Gwendolyn. It lacks personality; like Kingdom Hearts, the characters do little but stand around in disinterested poses. I like the purple sky background, with clouds in the shapes of mythical figures suggesting a grand escapade, but it's not given much room as some characters do unfortunately get cut off. A brighter color scheme would've done wonders to improve this one.

I agree with RE3 remake and the original Metal Gear at least. Outbreak would also be a great remaster.

I really want a Dino Crisis remake and maybe remasters of Haunting Ground and Rule of Rose just to make them more available to people.

Definitely higher, the red contrasts really nicely and the ghostly spectres are an interesting and scary addition. It's also really cool how the girl sort of invites you into the book too.

This feels like it could be from any sort of ghost story. The raven-haired girl in a white dress is so typical, as is the dilapidated house. I wish the cover had a few more touches of red as the few leaves that are present accentuate the scene really well and would also tie into the book title. The slight bit of dirt on the girl's dress is also a nice touch, but cover-wise, it just wouldn't stand out to me amongst similar horror/mystery titles.

These types of covers are generally really dull. Characters standing around, not doing anything particularly interesting or eye-catching. Is Sora's throne meant to be a Game of Thrones reference? That's a bit random. I do like the way the chess board is crumbling away on the right side (it even looks like little crowns) along with the clashing color scheme. The composition of the characters is just painfully average unfortunately.
