Theres a bunch of bars downtown but it depends on what atmosphere you want. I recommend Dinos too if you're into karaoke. Container Park is cool, Atomic Bar has good cocktails but a pretty large beer list, Bunkhouse has cheap drinks. There will most likely be free shows on Fremont too but those are usually pretty lame.

Chill craft beer bars

Most of the good craft beer bars are in the suburbs unfortunately. If you are driving I recommend checking out Aces and Ales. There's one in north west Las Vegas and it's worth the 15-20 minute drive (sans traffic which is going to be shit).

I could pull out of a hat so many instances of comedians saying much, much worse things. Anthony Jeselnik mocks school schootings every time there is one. Frankie Boyle makes necrophilia jokes about celebrities that died of cancer. Both of these guys are popular and doing well.

I'm critical of what Louis CK did but I think it's really fucking low for people to point to jokes like this as if to say "see, he's just the worst didn't I tell you".

I think he's definitely getting excessive residual hate due to his prior actions. But the joke from what I've read just didnt seem funny. People like Jeselnik and Tosh land offensive jokes. This just seemed like an old man yelling at his TV. It doesn't even read like a joke. That being said, it shouldn't be used against him in terms of his character, but maybe he just isnt funny anymore.

Tilts that are tied to the right stick are tricky. You're doing it wrong honestly. The stick needs to be "reset to 0" in order for the tilt to register. You're better off releasing the stick altogether and then inputting the tilt again.

I had the same issue at first. The game reads the tilt stick as direction plus attack, not just directional attack, if that makes any sense.

Also, if you're losing against people who are constantly dodging then you are doing something wrong lol dodging has been nerfed hard.

That's another point too. Handheld gaming on a screen slightly bigger than your average smartphone just doesn't really lend itself to in depth 3D games that well. Thats why there are so many sidescrollers.

The switch handled DOOM and The newest wolfenstein game (albeit poorly) and will have the next MK.

The ps3 had trouble handling mk3 and it got cancelled.

Correct me if I'm wrong but every switch port has been massively nerfed to make it playable.

Doom textures on Switch are scaled down incredibly and the framerate sticks at 30fps. Pretty sure the switch struggles with framerate across all of its games, which is why the dark souls port was delayed.

Hell there's a section in breath of the wild where you get like 10FPS just looking around.

No one expected what is basically a tablet to run games at 60 FPS with Xbox One graphics. Most console games this gen cant even manage a consistent 30 FPS, let alone 60 FPS, without buying the X or the Pro.

I think you're really overstating how "bad" these games look. And Dark Souls has had bad framerate issues across the board lol

Yep, but then look at Skyrim and Dark Souls. Doesn't quite work as well.

That probably has more to do with lazy porting. Look at Doom 2016. that game looks surprisingly great on Switch.

Modern country is pretty much identity politics in music form.

Its over produced, feels fake and its overly repetitive: pickup truck this, good old boy that, drinking this, whisky that, rural this, love with good old girl that, cowboy hat and twang.

For the record, hip hop/rap is pretty much the other side of the coin, but at least it doesnt sound like shit and its more diverse, you got the likes of Eminem, the other white dude who did a diss track on Eminem, you got Macklemore, etc. You can go to a hip hop concert and see a bunch of basic white girls having fun. Oregon as a whole is very white. Even Portland, for as progressive as it is, is very overwhelmingly white. When I went to Portland and Seattle I was surprised to see such a small amount of diversity in both places.

The action and the space scenes are pretty much all I care about in the Star Wars movies and TLJ had a good amount of both.

Not so hot take: the Star Wars series has a shit story altogether. They're fun mindless fantasy movies though. This one was no different and was better than the prequels.
