I love the show but I really hate Janine and Gregory's dynamic. It basically brings out the absolute worst in them and they constantly do shit that makes their lives worse.

There's been maybe 2 or 3 games this gen that made me actually feel like the jump from One/PS4 to X/PS5 was necessary. Most of the exclusives are still available on last gen consoles.

The smartest thing Nintendo ever did was get out of the power race. They're making games at a faster rate than the competition, they're arguably making better games as well. They're not closing down studios because they can't recoup $200mil losses from a game (which is fucking insane btw, budgets for games should not be that high).

Nintendo hands down has the best and most exclusives. Hell, there was a point where they were releasing a new switch exclusive every month for a year+. The other companies have never done that lol

I scrolled through the first vid and it was just a bunch of passes on a jib or crane. The screen is just too big and there's not enough room for the cameras to do anything interesting. Sounds like a real nightmare to plan out tbh.

TS then MGS2 seems right if you're spacing your playthroughs out. If not do MGS2 then TS so the story beats feel more fresh.

Digital games. I buy as many physical games on the Switch that I can, mostly first party. But the indie games are mostly digital due to limited physical release. Those add up.

MS fucked up by not acquiring or partnering with a shit ton of indie studios during the XBLA days. That service put so many indies on the map back then. They could have funded some great projects and built up these small studios that would have paid off across multiple gens.

I miss the XBLA days so much that was peak indie gaming.
