2024 - Acquaintance wishes the girl a happy anniversary with her boyfriend

I don't know, remembering the exact day your crush gets with another man is rather weird, and into cuckhold territory. I almost left the discord group in embarrassment.

Sounds like acquaintance loves you, and youve known about it for a while. Set some boundaries if they embarrassed you publicly and you want to maintain a friendship with someone who (from the little information you gave) seems to genuinely care about your happiness. Or drop them because you dont want that kind of friend.

For what its worth, I try to save important dates for people I care about and keep in contact with. Birthdays of people who turned me down are included, though I dont say anything personal unless its in PMs. Its not that Im obsessed or stalking the individuals, its just they are or were important to me and I want to wish them well. Other than an ex I dumped, none of them are even on my mind more than a few times a year; its just a note on my calendar.
