i would hope you know her better than we do. Im a mom and would hate a generic mom gift.

I want an OLED steamdeck. A NVIDIA Shield would be okay as well.

Pay attention to what she talks about. If she mentions anything. Case in point, my mother is vicious if I don't give her a card every year for important dates. So I make a mental note to get it 1 month before it happens just so I'm not rushing.

As for what else I give her, I never give her flowers. She has enough of those as is. And most of the time the gifts I do give her don't see use until 2 years later when she stumbles upon them and finally uses them, as she did with the roaster and slow cooker I gave her a few years ago.

My suggestion though is to learn how to bake. Nothing super complicated, but something that gives a bit of human touch to it. I'd bake a small tin of cookies and cakes. With 1 muffin baking sheet you can make a bunch of different desserts, and put them in a tin for her to enjoy.

This is my wife's first mother's day as a mom so it has special meaning to her especially with her being in her mid and soon to be late 30's. That being said something simple is always good. It could be cookies, flip flops/slides for house wear, or even doing something (my wife appreciates me doing the dishes a lot as an example).

Specialty coffee

I think I am going to get her a knee brace. She has some knee issues and she will not take the brace if I just give it too her outright. But on Mother's day she might be more open to it. She used my knee sleeves the last time she come to see me and I was like keep them. And she was no no no . So I got her some sleeves since she told me that they worked. But I will get a brace that can be chilled as well.

I had an awesome gift idea and I forgot what it was.

Trader Joe's has the cheapest flowers and they, more often than not, get them from the same distributors as brick and mortar florists shops.
