Deloads work, and you don't actually have to take full workouts off, nor do you have to do a full week. Either cut your reps in half and keep the same weight, or keep the same reps, and cut your weight in half(on any muscle that is struggling). Pumped up for bench tomorrow. Awesome! Going to give that advice a go with OHP/shoulders tomorrow. I generally agree with trying not to take a full day/week off, if only because the DOMs (at least for me) are always so bad after time away. Sure the Wii was a huge moment but so was the Switch. There are lots of people who have only ever owned a Switch as well, especially those who got one in the pandemic. The things you can say for the Wii are that it codified Nintendos plans to not go all in power, it normalised releasing old games on modern consoles, and motion controls are here to stay, albeit as a minor feature. None of that quite adds up to Rushmore worthy. It was also amusingly I think the first home console with wifi capabilities out of the box as the OG Xbox 360 didnt have it, but nobody is touting the Wii as the most important online console. Lets be real though: the SNES is an absolute pretender to the throne here. No reason to vote for it at all other than nostalgia, sure it had a great library but so do all of these except the NES. Honestly even the N64 has a place above the SNES due to its importance in the shift to 3D. Anyway, the 360 is a system I never even owned but should absolutely be on here because of how important it was to modern gaming, especially with its use of online features. Its the base of all current consoles, were all basically playing Xbox 360s now. Wii was a cultural moment. Don't you remember hearing about nursing homes with Wiis because they could play Wii Sports? Do you remember how much of a flop Wii U was? Switch is obviously "better" than Wii but it does not have the impact that Wii did. It should be on the Rushmore for the same reason it's NES over SNES and PS1 over PS2 (though that one is much more debatable). It's just a beautiful song that's unique in their library. If you feel like Mt. Rushmore should represent more than just Lennon and McCartney, Here Comes The Sun feels like a pretty easy next choice. I personally had it #9. So, my opinion is a bit out of sync with others on it. My beginning hour of time has left me feeling like an old man, overwhelmed by all the controls, pop ups, etc. The amount of shit I see popping up in the upper left corner is a bit overwhelming: get a haircut, change your clothes, race planes or some shit. There's like 2 dozen radio stations?!? I'm doing the first real mission where you have to steal the bike, and I'm driving after him when he runs, and it took way (way, way, way, waaaaaaay) longer than it should for me to aim and shoot that idiot off the bike (after chasing him literally MILES out of town). Playing on PS5, btw. It actually uses the adaptive triggers, which is nice...I guess? I had an issue trying to switch characters during the prologue. It kept telling me to hold down on the D-Pad and use the right stick but that just did not work. Eventually I realized the touch pad could get the job done to switch. Seanchan 04/21/24 5:40:44 PM #157	Couldn't get a 147.5 OHP done today. Was a little shocked, as I'd easily gotten 145 last week and I hit all my work sets today up to that point. Gonna try a light day next time and see if that's enough to get me going again. Looks like 145 is my personal best, at least in the numbers I see in the last few years. "Heavy" Zercher set up to 7 @ 190. Felt really good and no hip/glute issues. I've really come to like the Zerchers, though we'll see if that's still true if I'm able to add another 50 pounds onto it. My right forearm is still not feeling great on some movements. Seanchan 04/20/24 8:04:14 AM #100	I've been thinking about maybe taking a more analytical approach to my personal album rankings. The way I figure, there's 2 factors at play: how much I enjoyed the album as a whole, and how many songs I'd listen to individually. As a recent example, take Innervisions and The Colour and the Shape. Innervisions is much better as an album, but it has no songs I enjoyed more than Everlong and Monkey Wrench. That said, there's no way, for me, that my love for those 2 songs vaults Foo Fighter's album above Stevie's album. And that's just based on "feel"; if I used numbers, those should back that up. Ultimately, that's an easy example though. It's where albums are closer together, or where I'm just not sure, that having numbers could really help. I'm thinking the album grade has 5 levels, in English terms: Great, Good, Fine, Didn't Like, Awful. It wouldn't be a a straight 5-4-3-2-1, maybe something like 20-12-6-2-0? Hmm...that still maybe doesn't seem quite right... For songs, it's probably a straight 1 point per song, with really amazing songs getting an extra 1-2 points. Combine those and I'd get an overall score. Something to play around with at least! I'd have to go back to listen to most albums again but I'm curious if this approach would differ greatly from my current "feel" rankings. @FoolFantastic, I know you have numerical scores on your personal rankings. Couldn't watch the City match live because that whole working thing got in the way. Was browsing the web as I watched this evening and had the result spoiled. Guess I was right though about what would happen! Sucks. Still finishing watching it now but knowing the result spoils the fun, or in this case the not fun.
