I see decent Gretsch guitars on sale for sub-$500 all the time and back when I first started playing that was like not a thing lol still need to get me a White Falcon whenever I have a few thousand to blow.yea and even the cheap ones are all cut with CNC machines and everything with their assembly is so automated so the quality is pretty high. plus the factories in places like China have been doing this kind of thing for decades and have some really efficient processes. besides some really minor fit/finish things that wont matter to 99.9% of people, the big difference between a cheap guitar and an expensive one is the pickups. but if you spend like $100 you can buy a seymour duncan or some boutique pickup and it will sound better than basically anything fender sells --- http://i.imgur.com/LhwwG.gif |
