TopicDo you usually speed when driving?

I used to speed... now I sit in the right lane doing just over the limit. No need to go any faster, even with my 200KM daily commute, speeding doesn't make sense at all. More gas mileage, more risk for tickets, and it does not cut down on the time significantly overall. Going this speed basically means no one is ever really around me for long, so I pretty much have the whole road to myself.

How do you drive 200km a day? Shouldn't you look into moving closer toward work with all the extra money you spend on gas?

I can totally relate to the I-394 thing since I live in MN.

- People who can't figure out that you are suppose to stop behind a crosswalk or stop line at an intersection. Doubly so if I happen to be walking an need that crosswalk.

- People who take forever to go when the light is green. You should be driving, not playing with your phone, doing your hair, etc.

- People who do bad lane changes, especially when waiting until the last minute to merge, which disrupts the flow of traffic.

- People who get in a new lane before it is actually a legal lane.

Speaking of deer, about 3 weeks after I purchased my current car I hit a deer on the way to work. I was not happy at all. My main complaint about my work is that deer are frequently on the roadside.

My wife has been a Customer Service Manager there for 5 years. Most of her complaints are about her superiors' incompetence regarding scheduling coverage and her subordinates and peers calling out all the time.

This describes me very well except its the daytime front end scheduling coverage that is the problem and I am an overnight CSM. Anytime a new schedule drops I personally print it and verify there is adequate coverage on every day. If there is not, I write in edits and turn it in to management. Normally they key in those changes because I know how many people we need up front on any given day.

I believe it is largely the parents fault. If you are an adult, you are able to control what you eat. Figure out a schedule so you don't have to eat out so often and have time to exercise.

Another thing that would help is if Food Stamps did not cover things like cookies and pop that are not good for you. I've literally seen people buy nothing but junk food when they come in my line and pay for it with food stamps. I know not that many people are on food stamps, but it would definitely help.

Well, parents expect teachers to raise their kids, practically, but without discipline. All you can do is take things away. A 51% is a fucking passing grade.

When I was going to school 51% is not passing. Some of the classes I took had a D at 60%, but some you needed to get at least 70% to pass the class.

also why the hell does one quotation mark take up like 5 characters out of your 80 character title limit on GFAQs? What a waste of precious letters.

Because of the function called htmlchars which converts special characters so ' actually becomes "e; The reason this function is used is to prevent cross site scripting.

Once a week or so when I was in highschool. I worked strange hours, so I used to get pulled over driving home at 2am. Understandable, most sixteen year olds driving around at 2am are likely fucking around.

Three times for actual offenses. Once because the car I was driving came back as stolen(It wasn't, someone accidentally put my tag instead of the real stolen car). Twice for speeding, one I got a warning, one I got a $9950 ticket for going 168 in a 25. I stopped speeding after that.

In most states you would face jail time, vehicle would be impounded, and licence revoked for going that much above the speed limit. Its lucky to even be alive driving that much faster than the limit.

A couple times. I've only had 1 speeding ticket and that was when I was on a road trip near Chicago. One time I was going to slow apparently in the left lane even though I was doing 70 in a 65 zone. That time they just told me to use the right lane so people who wanted to go faster could use the left lane. I've been pulled over also for having a headlight out which was just a fix it. I've always cooperated fully.
