I'm further to the left than they are. Mom's probably somewhere center left. Pretty in line with mainstream democrats. Dad seems center right from what little I've talked to him about politics. Voted for trump in 2016, but regrets it after his presidency. He doesn't like biden either though. I think he's probably just going to not vote in 2024.

Its not a total misunderstanding. I don't think its impossible, I just don't actually know what is possible. I have no idea how difficult it is to migrate to another country, especially since I don't have a trade or well established career, or a lot of money. I was under the impression those were stuff you generally need, unless you're a refugee. Which tbh, would probably be the most likely reason for me to permanently leave the US.

All i meant by that is I don't really have any obvious choices like having dual citizenship, or family somewere else like a few people mentioned. It would be a huge decision that would require a ton of research. Like I would lean towards somewhere in europe, but I don't know exactly where. I'm not even sure where I'd move within the US if I chose not to stay in Tennessee.

I have no idea. I'm not really sure where I could even realistically move to. I don't really have any family that I know of that's from anywhere other than the US unless you go back hundreds of years. I would definitely prefer somewhere warm and primarily english speaking.
