Yeah. I like the ones where he does a forest by a lake. I was enthralled wondering how was he going to make tree reflections

I havent watched it in many years, frankly because I havent seen it on tv in many years and I dont stream. But growing up I watched it all the time in the 80s on PBS. Caught a new episode every week when it was on.

If I came across episodes now Id definitely watch. It would take me back to my youth.

Just this morning. Every weekend. Although today it wasn't actually Bob but "whatshisface" who tried to take over for him. Still good, though.

I always wanted to try the technique, but it's too expensive for my budget to "just try." Plus, I don't have the space for it unless I did some major rearranging of my house. Not worth the cost & effort for something I'd probably be terrible at. But it sure looks fun.

Yes, I still watch when whenever I catch it on public access. It amazes me how he never draws anything; just forms his subjects with strategic paint placement.
And yes, his calm, quiet voice, minimalist background and tranquil subjects are definitely stress-relievers.

I liked him when i was a kid in like, 1995. Sometimes he just drew with markers and it made me feel like anything could look goo, as long as you knew your tools and knew composition. Im a teacher now and i definitely try to channel his style in my class
