Its hard to imagine that being easier than the couple living together at one of the parents house. Young kids are a lot of physical labor the grandparents can help with but most often not to the same degree as the dad. I'll never get how characters in the prequels see a lightsaber or robes and instantly go "Ah you're a Jedi!" and 19 years later everyone in the universe suddenly believes they're a fairy tale. its probably because the prequels were written years after the OT.
