All-time favorite = SNES

Current gen = PS4

I was on the verge of buying a PS4 solely for Persona 5, but I didn't. I'm still a bit broken hearted, but I can literally play anything else (even KH3, FF15 and MGSV) on my X Box 1.

I will get a PS4 someday, just for Persona 5, and maybe Last of Us. But not today.

I buy Nintendo consoles strictly for Fire Emblem. Any other games that I enjoy are just icing on the cake.

I also bought a PS4 in anticipation of Trails Cold Steel 3, but the exclusives on PS4 are great so I wouldn't quite say it's just for one game.

It could be one. I bought the 3DS just for Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, since it was a direct sequel to Professor Layton and the Last Specter on the DS and I wanted to see what the full story would be. And even though I didn't know that Miracle Mask would have its own direct sequel, I figured there would have to be a few other good 3DS games, and there have been.

If the DS had had just the first trilogy of Professor Layton games and the second trilogy had started on the 3DS, maybe I wouldn't have bought it, since the first trilogy tied everything up.

I bought a PS3 just for MGS4. Pretty much bought a 360 for Oblivion

I was gonna get an xbone to play We Happy Few but now that is coming to PS4 as well so no reason to do that. Plan on getting a switch to play Mario/Rabbids Kingdom Battle

After disappointments with the Wii, 3DS, and PS Vita, I'm now in the last category so I'll be absolutely sure it'll be worth it, and also to save cash with various sales and price drops.

Usually 3 is the magic number. Three really appealing titles. I have bought consoles (handhelds, specifically) for just one game twice now and felt burned in the end both times.

Favorite console is probably PS2 or PS1. Tough to choose.

Current gen: I have none unless Wii U still counts. Plan to get PS4 eventually.
