WarioWare: Snapped, with its camera controls, was basically unplayable for me. It wasn't even worth its low download price. I bet I could have at least played one of the better Virtual Boy games for 15 minutes.

For the gum question, are you thinking about that (not tournament legal) Magic card Fat Ass?

http://magiccards.info/scans/en/uh/95.jpg

Mark Rosewater ruled that gum didn't count as food for that card because otherwise it would be too easy to keep Fat Ass big by chewing one piece of gum. I would instead say that if candy counts as food, you could keep Fat Ass big while chewing gum until all the sugar got sucked out of it, although it would be pretty hard to tell when that happened. I think the gum base of gum is essentially rubber, so it doesn't count as food to me.

Why would anyone want to learn Portuguese?

It's the (only) official language of Brazil, as well as of a few other countries in addition to Portugal.

Even before I watched the show I would see commercials for it and think "that show just looks ok, but the girl on it is insanely hot".

I thought her clothes and hair on The Office made her average at best. She looks better in real life.

If she got her way, and a government started becoming oppressive to white men, what recourse would they have since they couldn't vote the government out? Maybe she should concentrate more on things like raising taxes on the rich and stopping gerrymandering (I'm not sure what the exact problems in South Africa are), and see how much those reforms make the races and sexes more equal.

I voted for 1975 due to Colossal Cave (the first text adventure, and therefore the first "adventure game" of any type---and since it's all text, it's aged better than graphical games from this time period).

I've also read that some companies are thinking about drive-in order areas that have you talking to somebody in a call center halfway around the world, who will then relay your order to the cooks at your restaurant.
TopicWhat is your favorite Kirby Super Star game?

I picked Dyna Blade because I like how it's an entire Kirby game in one world. The ending is also cute in the DS version (which is the only version of Kirby Super Star I've played). Revenge of Meta Knight is #2 for me, mainly because it's over faster.

As for the others, Spring Breeze is too easy, Gourmet Race is more of a mini-game, I generally don't spend much time on boss modes like The Arena, and I got lost too much just trying to get to the end of The Great Cave Offensive and Milky Way Wishes >_> (not enough to have to look anything up, but enough that I didn't have great memories of those two games).

I tend to use Cutter when I can in Kirby games. It just seems easy to use.

I actually think she's cute in the first "before" pic. She looks so soft and huggable. And from the original pic you can see she has nice-sized boobs which she's lost some of now.

Just to be clear, you can cut out the green part and throw it away. I'm wondering if you'd still be scared to eat the rest of it.

Well?

This discussion says that the green part is just prematurely dead tissue that doesn't harm the rest of the chicken and is even itself safe to eat, though it would probably taste bad. I'm just wondering if it would freak anybody out.

I suspect he got in despite this stunt. Didn't even Martin Luther King Jr. give reasons for why black people deserved civil rights? ("We came here to cash a check" could be paraphrased as "You've promised us equal rights, but you're not giving them to us". "If we are wrong, then God is wrong" could be paraphrased as "In the eyes of the Christian God, all people have fundamental dignity".)

I just don't want to have to memorize a different set of pronouns for every person who doesn't use "he" or "she". I mean, I'll try, but I don't want anyone getting angry at me if I call them "they" instead of "zie" or whatever.

The character literally named Dark Lord, from Sword of Mana.

I thought of him too, from the original Game Boy version:
