Most people don't have a very good home gym, if they did they wouldn't go to a public gym. Now depending on how seriously you take a work out then sure a gym might not be required, but most hardcore gym goers take that shit pretty seriously.

I think the biggest thing that keeps most from having a good home gym is lack of space, that and buying a ton of equipment could be very costly.

Anyways my point was that in todays world you don't have to step into a grocery store if you don't want to, shit companies are trying very hard to find more ways to serve those that are wary of doing so because of Covid. Taco Bell just put out a drive thru only restaurant that has 0 contact with humans, the humans make the food then an automated system brings the bag of the food to the buyer.

10-20 years ago going to grocery stores was required period, getting home delivery or just driving by and having someone bring it out wasn't a thing. Assuming you did at least some dining at home, obviously someone could eat out for every meal of the day but that gets expensive.

Well there are alternatives to going to the store, home delivery of groceries is available in a lot of cities now. Some stores also do contactless pickup, where you can order stuff then drive by to pick it up and they will put it in your car's trunk or something.

I am blown away Fruit Loops is winning this, it has to be one of the most generic rainbow colored cereals around.

Where did he notify them? He walks towards cops with his hands up but does nothing else, he doesn't call the police he doesn't go out of his way to make sure the cops know what happened.

I have seen 0 video where the cops talk to him directly.

I will point out that even if he can prove he acted in self defense he did not follow proper protocol for it.

If someone breaks into my house and I blow their brains out, i must then IMMEADITLY call the cops to let them know. I can't just days later decide, oh shit I better let the cops know about the break into my home and shooting someone. Kyle shot people didn't bother to notify the police and didn't bother to turn himself in.

So this is more than just a typical self defense thing here, and this assumes that Kyle was 100% acting in self defense which I don't think is evident at all. I watched the tape multiple times and he shot at one guy that was fucking running away from him.

I mean I think the first part of Deathly Hallows is a joke, nothing of real note happens in it, the entire movie is setting up the second part. Now if you just consider it one long ass movie, it's pretty good but split in two I was pretty disappointed with the first part coming out of the theater.

He riled up his supporters on the day the election results would be fully certified. Dude is basically grasping at nearly every possible straw remaining to maintain his presidency.

Compared to modern games, it is very good. Some of the characters are very annoying, IMO.

Compared to classic RPGs it doesn't compare. I'd still take DQ III, IV, VIII, & IX ahead of it.

I think for most gamers going back to stuff like DQ 3-4 is pretty rough. The games are archaic as shit, so unless you love old school JRPG's it's' not the best.

VIII is good but it also has it's share of annoying characters.

If you like by-the-book generic JRPG elements rolled up into a story that can be predicted hours ahead of any given curve until the post-game at least, then DQ11 is your game.

I am fine with that stuff personally, especially when we live in a world where every other major JRPG is doing other stuff. Final Fantasy hasn't made a game in that style since FF IX for instance.

DQ harkens back to an older age that is very hard to find in the modern gaming world.

DQ 11 is probably the best introduction to the series overall, extremely polished with basically the best combat system of any DQ game.

If you play DQ 11 and don't like it odds are you would not like any entry in the series.

Amazon had a store concept that would automatically charge people's cards with anything they walked out with. I have no clue what happened to that concept but that is my dream store, literally walk in grab whatever you want then walk right out the door, everything is automatically charged to a card.

Depends on lines and how many items you have, I have seen pretty intense lines for self checkout. With a full shopping cart, I would bet on the trained cashier+bagger to easily beat almost anyone at the self checkout line assuming no lines for either.

Sure if you have 10 or less items self checkout is faster, unless we are talking lines.

If the Democrats win the Senate race for both candidates in Georgia it will be a tie between Republican and Democrats in the Senate.

So any ties that the Senate has will then go to the Vice President which is Kamala Harris. So while they won't technically control the Senate a tie is pretty good for them assuming everyone votes with the party, since then it goes to Kamala Harris to break that tie.

He was also one of the greatest game show hosts to ever live easily. Even, if you don't like Jeopardy just watching him host it a few times would show that.

There was a time right when Covid hit that new ones were going for in some cases roughly double over MSRP. I imagine during that time even used ones in good shape were probably fetching nearly new prices.

It seemed like nearly everyone that gamed that didn't have a Switch wanted a Switch since they were stuck at home.

Eh, I wouldn't say this is altogether reasonable (at least, not any more so than the other extreme). There have been some truly excellent games given away for free or included in bundles that make them very cheap, and most of the time, the games that you can actually spend a lot on only offer that option because they've been carved up into so much different DLC that getting anything resembling a complete experience means spending triple the normal cost of a game. There's also been a lot of crap given away that's barely worth the effort of clicking the giveaway button, but games really are not a case where price can be reliably conflated with worth.

Yep, Hollow Knight is one of the best games I have played of the past 10 years or so and it retails for a lowly $14.99. I have spent more than that on a long list of games I have liked a lot less, the thought process that Epic is giving away only shit games is joke.

Sure some of the games given away are not great but a good deal of them are at least pretty good.

I mean when I am getting free drinks at a Wedding or something I don't inherently devalue them because I am not shelling out $4-5 each or more I would at a typical bar.

it happened on mass effect andromeda, jumped back into the game and all the menu text was blurry af. Quit the game, then came back into it normally and the display was fine.

Pretty rough time to build a PC when GPU's across the board almost are spiking pretty hard. I built a new PC about 3 months ago but am forgoing a new GPU and Monitor until I can get a 3070 or equivalent for a cheaper price.

It's easily one of the greatest cartoons ever made, and if you are looking at just action/drama cartoon's it's hands down the best.

It does everything right the characters are awesome the storyline is great the acting overall is very good. It does take a little while to get going though, the first bit is pretty good but not great it picks up more as it goes along overall.

It's also rather amusing that in this country even if you do the right thing and get health insurance and pay for it for say 10-15 years. if you get any major thing like say cancer in most cases the health insurance company will drop your coverage, since they know for the next 2-3 years it will be a huge cost for them. What a great system even if you follow all the rule and try to play it fair they can just say "Nah, we aren't paying for this asshole now that he is very sick."

I do find it funny when people back American healthcare when it's one of the most expensive of the healthcare systems on earth. Yet despite all that money it's not even the best or top 3 for that matter, sure if money is no object and you can afford to pay out of pocket for everything or get an extremely good healthcare plan it's pretty good. But the vast majority of the people can't walk into a hospital for a surgery, and write a $50k check like it's nothing.

I enjoyed Bad Santa but it is mostly "shock" humor. It's kinda lazy writing tbh. I got a chuckle out of it, but it's not as rewatchable as most Christmas classics.

Love John Ritter and Bernie Mac in that movie, though. RIP in peace, boys.

I think the movie works mostly because of Billy Bob Thornton he is great in the role and really sells it.

Bad Santa 1 is also pretty damn funny, assuming your not a prude and can appreciate it for what it is.

It's getting far more arbitrary what is deemed a Christmas movie, I mean I just saw a video where the AVGN claimed Batman Returns was his favorite Christmas movie.

Though ironically one of the most acclaimed Christmas movies is It's a Wonderful Life and that movie was not marketed or thought of as a Christmas movie on release.

Die Hard 1 is the best and it might be the greatest action movie ever. So many action movies fall on the trope of having untouchable heroes and in todays world they are untouchable doing insane things no one would ever do. Die Hard 1 especially is about a man that is not perfect by any means and he goes through shit to win the day.

I wish more action films would take their cues from Die Hard, instead of all trying to one up each other on set pieces and having action stars that don't even seem to get hurt,.
