What's hilarious is the thing that has drawn the most attention to this game in the past year or two is the hardcore version of Classic WoW.

I have seen more people talk about that then the last two recent expansions combined. What started off as an add-on has gotten so big that Blizzard is now implementing this in some of their own servers.

People aren't reading the question.

It's not "keep working" vs. "retire", it's "keep working a barely minimum wage job" versus "do something else".

One million dollars - assuming that's after taxes and any other deductions - is over 30 years of minimum wage salary. There is zero reason to keep working that particular job if you just won a million dollars. If you win a million and aren't near retirement age, a healthy chunk of that money should go into upgrading your skills into a more lucrative career. A million isn't enough to retire off of these days, but it's more than enough to live off of for whatever time you need to go take some courses, or even a full degree, and get yourself in a career that will bring in more money and let you retire faster/more comfortably.

Well you could also invest that million and potentially generate enough to live off, if you can generate even 40k a year with that million it's like you upgraded that job while not having to work 40 hours a week. You could also use it to start a business or open some chain restaurant or something like that, there is a lot of things you can do with $1 million to make more money in the future.

It's not a matter of liking him or not or even the size of his audience (which was massive [proportionally] back when he was one of the only games in town, but isn't particularly big today) - it's that he was basically one of the first online video content creators in the gaming sphere. Dude was hugely influential and basically helped set the table for video content creation back when that was still a new medium online.

It's like not knowing who Hideo Kojima is - sure, you may or may not be a fan of his work - or you may not have even watched it at all - but unless you first got into the hobby within the last 10 years (which I doubt describes anyone posting on GameFAQs these days), you probably have heard his name at some point.

Well he also has an interesting style of review, which is not really out there. It's one thing to just be a rando reviewer it's another to do it with your own unique style. Obviously not everyone has heard of him but shit you could even look at the biggest Twitch or Youtubers on the planet right now, and some might not know them either.

Trust me at this point he was the main reason the Escapist was holding some relevancy nearly every other person they have is pretty damn mediocre at best.

He will probably pull out the old have his son run then try to utilize his son to get whatever he wants accomplished done. Again Trump wants the same things guys like Kim Jong Un have indefinite power for his family for the rest of time. If Kim Jong Un dies tomorrow another one would rise to take his place, until that family as a whole loses power.

The only difference here is being President for more than 8 years takes a lot of work due to the laws we have.

Think about it even if they want to go straight they have a much harder road being an ex-con and in many cases have trouble securing a job even if they have some skills. Meanwhile if it's an ex-con that has no skills trying to get a half-way decent job is a nightmare.

But you can bet your ass if they live in shitty conditions those entire 20 years they are far more likely to get out and immediately go back into crime. Also no one is advocating for something like a spa or some high end hotel, we just want reasonable ones like some other countries have.

Trump's goal seems to be turn the GOP into the GOTP for at least the next 20-30 years. Even if he loses the presidency this year or can't run, it seems the GOP will still be divided into these two camps.

As compared to being a conspiracy nut and lowering the average IQ of people. I even had to go to "myactivity" on google just to turn off the log so i didnt see the dumb stuff from average youtubers. But as a rule i put away all distractions outside perhaps the informal discord chat with friends when it comes to school homework
(but i guess USA politics is revolutionary blue socks vs red socks, not the rational representative multiparty system, so thats another wall entirely.) But thats what it comes down to. Freedom to be an idiot.

Well i have holidays now (1 week in fall)

But when its not then from Monday to Friday 8 or 9 AM to 16:00/4PM then its work time.
And weekend is lazy days.

But i gotta wonder with all these dorks who makes this low IQ podcasts and such. Internet is not real life.

But i think i read a Reddit post summed up pretty well to people who complain how life is hard.
"Life is easier if you arent stupid"

Not everyone that is online all the time is like this and with the invention of smartphones you can be terminally online even from work or school.

Sure some jobs make this more difficult but you can bet your ass I see plenty of low effort jobs and they spend 70% of their work day or more browsing the internet on the phone.

It's funny when people compare theme parks to children's playground equipment. They are vastly different I have never seen a 30+ year old man go down a childs slide by himself, or use a childrens jungle gym. A swing set might be the only exception but even then I rarely see that happen unless the childrens playground is empty, keep in mind this shit changes when an adult has a kid with them.

Meanwhile at a theme park the rides are designed for all ages, no one thinks that an adult going to Disneyland is weird. But yeah a 30+ year old man enjoying playing with children's playground that is weird unless that person has the mentality of someone the age of 10 or less.

Shit at at theme park many of the most ridiculous rides can't even be ridden by those 10 or under due to height requirements. If you are getting on a vicious roller coaster they won't let many kids ride that due to the lack of height.

The "this is worse than cable" complaints don't hold weight, because the biggest complaint with cable was that you couldn't just buy the channels you wanted, you had to get all of them. Streaming services are channels you can choose to buy.

Depends on your watch habits if you want access to a wide array of things at all times you need at least a few of these. Sure if all you do is chase the hottest new streaming shows/movies you don't, at that point you could subscribe to two at a time or something.

It's a bit mind blowing how it seems that every streaming service is jacking up rates these days, we are getting to the point where the old days of Cable were actually cheaper then having every single major streaming service at once.

Even if you limit to the big boys like

Hulu
Netflix

Disney+
Apple+
Amazon Prime

That is well over $100 a month, even if you divide the Amazon Prime a bit since it provides a lot of other things.

Well keep in mind those are the jobbers of the business, they make their living doing parts in 1 episode of a random show. Many of them never hit the status that Bob did down the line, my uncle is good example he appeared in quite a few famous shows for like 1 or 2 episodes, but never had that big part that would make him a recognizable actor.

While when people think of actors they think of the big name ones first like a Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise, those are the 1% of the acting world there are 1000's that never hit even 1/10th that level.
