Gash on her head and a big bump.

I hope you can convince her to report the attack. If the man raped her, I believe he would try to do it to someone else as well.

I don't even know why they bothered calling it World War Z. (Yeah, yeah, marketing purposes, I suppose.) The movie was so ridiculously different from the book. I'm sure the author was paid well enough, but I've always wondered how they feel about their original work being taken apart so thoroughly that it bears no resemblance to what's on screen.

See you're already upset and turning it into "waaaa feminists." Relax bud. You can talk about men's issues without ranting about how evil feminists are.

Did you not read TC's post? You're not allowed to bring up men's issues or else you're "bitching." Look at you, getting defensive and putting words in my mouth because I pointed out that feminists want men to get involved in female feminist issues, even though TC suggests we go off somewhere and work on our own issues. I thought feminism was for both men and women? And when has it ever been Ok to really talk about men's issues openly like child custody, male suicide, male incarceration, declining college participation, and so on without someone immediately hurling the neckbeard, virgin, misogynist labels around? Sure, MRA's went overboard and alienated a lot of listeners, but why do MGTOW's, for example, get hated on, too? Why do we all have to fall in line and think the same, regarding feminism, or else we will get attacked? You can support equal rights for all, but you'll get hated if you don't agree to publicly announce yourself as a feminist. Laci Green, of all people, says she will be more open minded to men's issues, then her feminist colleagues and their supporters go ballistic.

maybe men should organize and fight against those things instead of bitching about it, you know...like feminists do for women's issue.

people complain about stereotypes about men not being able to have support networks to deal with their issues...if they genuinely want to deal with things that they think are unfair to them, they can organize with each other to put those issues out there. i think men can learn from feminists in that regard. perhaps women would be willing to listen to those issues if men were willing to listen to the legitimate issues that feminists bring up (note i mean feminists who want rights and fair treatment, not "man hating feminists" that people like to talk about all the time)

Riiight, except that female feminists are fond of explaining to men that men need feminism, that feminism will improve their lives and society in general, and they call upon men to join them as allies. Did you forget all about Hermione's He for She campaign?

Mad? Lol, wut? I dislike jump scares because they are often a lazy and uncreative way of scaring people. It takes actual effort and thought to write something frightening and film it in a way that fills you with dread. If I sneak up behind you and slap you in the back of the head during a comedy, you would also feel fear because that is a jump scare and your reaction would be a normal human response, despite not even watching a horror movie. That doesn't make it a good tactic to use, though.

I understand why a lot of movies use jump scares. They're easier to create, just like throwing gratuitous amounts of sex or blood into a scene can shock a viewer's sensibilities.

Not even worth arguing with people who equate "aborting a fetus" to "murdering a child".

Semantics muddies the waters sometimes. If you murder an expecting mother, you can pretty much expect to be facing criminal charges for both mother and her unborn. Fetus is also a word with context. An unborn baby at nine weeks is a fetus, but then so is an unborn baby that is nine months old and just seconds from exiting the womb.

I might be misunderstanding, but I think you mean a part of, not apart of. (The way you wrote it means you're agreeing with me.) I'm fully aware of how it stands outside the current DC extended universe, which is why I said it as I still consider...

Nolan's tone in those movies is closer to the DCEU, than what Marvel has put forth. It's good that Marvel and DC movies look and feel very different from one another because we can enjoy Guardians of the Galaxy on one day and then enjoy Man of Steel on another, depending on your mood.

What?! Tobey Maguire was decent in Spider-Man. He has a quiet intelligence that fits Peter Parker, which makes it a good contrast for his persona when he puts on the mask. My only complaint is that, as Peter Parker, he always seemed on the verge of crying or literally was crying in a bunch of scenes. Of course, Peter has a lot of inner turmoil, so maybe he should be that way.
