But killings of black males by whites are more than eight times as likely as all others combined to be labeled justifiable, a racial disparity that is hard to explain based solely on the circumstances reported in the police data and one that has persisted for decades.

Interesting. What about percentages, though? What is the percentage of white homicide victims killed by black perpetrators, or vice versa?

Don't most people know that already? No citizen is required to respect anyone, any organization, or any movement. You can still be shamed and ostracized by various segments of society if you don't advocate for certain groups, though. It might not be wise to publicly announce (i.e. with your real name) that you are anti cop, anti military, anti feminist, anti Black Lives Matter, anti free speech, or whatever else people are passionate about.

You think white supremacists think Asian Americans are their allies? I've seen other groups claim Asians are privileged as the "model minority," but it wasn't said as a compliment. There are several CEmen (they'll remain nameless) who get mad when Asians start asking for help from other minorities, saying Asians should make their own social movements and not attach themselves to the non-Asian ones. It wasn't whites saying that, if I'm being too unclear.

Family is more important, for me at least. When the money is spent, the friends have left, the government fails as they so often do, and life inevitably turns dark, I can really only count on my family to be there by my side. That does not mean my family is perfect by any stretch of the imagination, and it is true that we don't all agree on important issues, but we are always there for each other when we are needed.

I understand not everyone feels the same way because everyone has a different family experience.

Yes, most people assume Jon's father is Rhaegar. It does seem to make sense because of how secretive Ned Stark was about Jon and how Lyanna supposedly had an affair with the Targaryen prince. However, it was not 100 percent shown that Rhaegar was the biological father. Keep in mind too that the books and Tv show have not been identical and it is possible (I think likely) that the last Tv season and last book will contain some surprises for fans, even though so much of the plot has been leaked.

Everyone else has the exact same problem of lousy scripts, but Ward's actor is the only one who talks... really... weird like. I don't know how to describe it but most of the time it comes off incredibly stilted.

Ward was falling apart. He always presented himself as being better than Danny and being able to lead the company, but inside he was very insecure and feared his father. He was also shocked by the return of Danny and was also struggling with his father's insane demands. Ward is supposed to sound stilted, unsure and awkward because he is all of those things. He is the only character who goes through such a wide character arc, especially when you compare him from the first episode to the last one. To me, that shows his actor has great range.

THAAD is not realistically capable of shooting down IRBMs which is what would be required to reach guam, let alone the supposed ICBMs that NK has been testing

it has a reliable track record against short and medium range missiles and their associated terminal velocities. its issue is that its capacity to intercept IRBMs is not good and its capacity to intercept ICBMs is not at all.

terminal intercept is incredibly difficult.

I'd be very interested to read the source on that. The Army claims THAAD can reliably intercept IRBM-range attacks (North Korea is around 2,100 mi away) and they've been testing it since the battery was deployed to Guam in 2013. Its purpose is to provide a deterrent specifically against NK, so it seems odd that it would not be able to do that. To be fair, this is operating on the assumption that the Army's success rate is an honest appraisal.

Here is at least one article on the matter:

Why would Trump do anything? Kim Jong Un has not done anything besides make threats.

It would be unwise for him (Kim) to attack. US patrols that region with fast attack subs that have cruise missiles that can level cities. Anyway, South Korea and Guam rely on a missile defense system called THAAD to shoot down enemy ballistic missiles. (I don't think most people are aware of THAAD, but guaranteed Kim is.)

No way. Doctor Strange is the only one I'll concede because of the time loop, even though almost everything leading up to the end was a brawl of some sort. Don't forget there were monks using magic and martial arts in that movie. Spider-Man? He used his webs and fists to beat the crap out of Vulture. Guardians was another brawl, except with guns, swords, explosives and Yondu's arrow. Hell, Peter even morphed into a godlike being so he could punch faces with his father.
