Kyle Chapman, a Daly City resident who gained infamy and the nickname “Based Stickman” after he was filmed battling anti-facists with a shield and staff in Berkeley earlier this year, plans to speak at both rallies. Chapman, who has declined a request for comment from The Times and suggested reporters “can all go to hell” on Twitter recently, is currently facing felony weapons charges in Alameda County.

Jack Posobiec, who hawked the false “Pizzagate” conspiracy that led to a shooting in Washington, D.C., and has been accused of hurling anti-Muslim slurs at former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, will also attend Sunday’s rally in Berkeley, according to Joanna Mendelson, the senior investigative researcher with the Anti-Defamation League’s Center On Extremism.

I stopped for a while because I was trying to read all NPC dialogue every time they updated (which happens for many towns after every major story event) and it was getting kinda draining. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by stuff having a lower mass in a potential. The potential should lower the object's energy but not its mass.

Most physicists define mass to be invariant (m^2*c^4=E^2-(pc)^2 is a frame independent constant) so your momentum is gamma*m*v instead of m*v with a varying m. If you are going with a definition of mass where m=gamma*m0 though the only thing that affects the mass is the object's velocity.

Dems should absolutely make certain that the debt ceiling increase happens; even bluffing with that one is dangerous.

I don't think they should concede on the wall funding for the budget. Whereas before the wall was "just" a stupid waste of money, Trump's now made it into a monument to hate. Making a deal with Ryan and overriding a Trump veto would probably be justified here even if it resulted in a (brief) shutdown.

I think it could be argued to be an impeachable offense since pardons were clearly not designed for that purpose and it fundamentally undermines the rule of law (not that there's any way there would be the political will to impeach him over that, and I don't think Republican voters would buy that reasoning either)
