On the other, he's the fucking president and why is he retweeting memes?

You don't say.

As far as the hurricane in Texas goes, you know he'll complain about how someone besides himself is obstructing him. For instance, that the Senate hasn't confirmed his picks for government jobs to handle it! When in reality it's that he doesn't have nearly enough people, and the ones who he does have don't give half a shit.

Forecasts for 10-20 inches of rain over 3-4 days, it's going to be miserable. For context, the floods Houston has had the last couple years were around that level, but mostly on a localized level. This time there are chances that there are a couple counties with at least that much.

Misleading title, but Dubya and Bill Clinton share a nice long interview together from this summer. If you don't want to watch the whole thing, just go to their last question at 45:42 and see how differently they answer it from what we expect out of Donald.

The whole "Liberals are literally always wrong" comment he made earlier confirmed(Even for hopefuls like me) two things.

1. He isn't interested in having an actual intellectual conversation. That's the same mentality of a polititroll, or a Trump bot on Twitter.

2. He hasn't really changed. His claim that he wants to "remove negativity" doesn't hold water when he's all too eager to spread negativity.

He's still the same shitposter we've grown tired of. So there's really no need to pay him any attention. He only wants to cause trouble.

Which is really a shame.

The more Trump gets into clashes with McConnell the more and more likely it gets that the Senate takes more and more power from the executive.

We already saw it with Russian sanctions where Congress voted to tie his hands.

If Trump somehow serves out his term i expect that by the end Congress will essentially be in control of most things other than the military.

That's not taking power from the executive branch! Veto overrides are part of the system! (In fact that issue is Congress's to begin with, a veto is simply a check on their power). I thought you meant like Congress claiming authority over actions that have been granted to the executive.
