Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (3DS)

Never got around to actually playing this one besides downloading event Pokemon. Apparently it's super easy to get overleveled in this game, even by Pokemon standards; by the time I beat the Elite Four my Sceptile was level 92. (I did try to be pretty thorough about catching available Pokemon and did a lot of secret bases and stuff, but still!)

Unfortunately they use UPS, which in my area at least does this bullshit thing where they only make one delivery attempt and then if they miss you you have to go pick it up somewhere (and if it's a failed friday delivery it might not be able to be picked up until Monday, which happened to me with my Switch...)

In store pickup is too far away from me to be an option. But oh well, at least the preorder's in!

If you're me then you see the checkpoint and attempt to jump to the train early, resulting in you falling to your death

Oil Ocean though... coin drain with death upon zero coins is not a fun thing to pair up with the "lose all of your coins from a single hit" mechanic! I actually only died once to that, but then I game-over'd to the giant octopus because the oil makes it much easier to lose all of your coins :(
