I don't think so I was running a Mr Negative deck with Renslayer that didn't play Morph. I in fact looked at every deck I own and none run morph. I have used him in the past but I don't think I deleted any decks with him lately.

I almost wonder if it's a glitch with District X. I imagine my win rate was super high when that appeared cause I ran Loki most of last season. But my District X win rate wasn't my lucky location.

I don't even remember using a Morph deck but it seems to think I played it a lot since 94% implies a rather large sample size

Sympathetic origin story of a child doesn't necessarily make them any less evil imo.

Bateman's killing feels chiefly motivated by perceived slights (that usually don't exist because he's insane)

Luca on the other hand seems like he actually finds a sort of prestige in his body count and power and revels in the very act of being evil regardless of whether his victim has done anything to him

I think if you swap their worlds Luca isn't content to be a serial killer and uses his Wall Street connections to get money to do something much greater in scale.

Ambition counts.

She's a strong serious type that successfully navigates the fine line between being that and being boring. Runic is really cool. Imo has a much better case for being the main character of FF6 than the Haddaway Macguffin.

Cute but not much there as a character. I kinda wish they leaned more into her and Vaan's irrelevance in FF12.

Homelander in the TV series is basically just a total egomaniac with no morals or maturity. He's more concerned with his own gratification over all which limits the scope on the evil he'd do and I could easily see him doing good with different people in his circle. Stormfront is much much worse than him.

Rydia - 8.5 Love her design and she adds a ton to the FF4 plot. Her bailing the party out against Golbez may be the best moment in the game.
Cait Sith - 5 I don't hate him like some but not very interesting

Bland in a lot of stuff but GBA FFV writes him pretty humorously and I choose to believe that's the real Bartz. But the other appearances weigh on me.

- True Lies somewhere at the lower end of Greater or higher end of Lesser

So yeah I would definitely say True Lies is worth a watch and I'm fairly certain you'd like it decently much too since I think we vibe on Arnold Fandom fairly well.

I'm unsure of that. I look at Roba's list of favorite characters and the ones I actually like are towards the bottom. I expect his ranking to be like

Aeris > Cait Sith > Yuffie > Red XIII > Tifa >>> Cloud > Vincent > Barret > Cid > Sephiroth

Dude is completely heartless and has the ridiculous Jojo writing to give him lots of ways to display his ruthlessness. He does have moments where he acts honorable would be the only knock against him.

It says the other guy is driven by knowledge-- while Dio is driven by the pursuit of power I would argue Dio does a lot of extremely terrible things just out of hate with no actual purpose behind it but hate which to me puts him soundly above the other guy based on the write up.

But yeah open for arguments. Don't know Bondrewd beyond the write up so if he has a lot of vile things not described there...

I don't think anyone was more surprised than me when I went to add all of them. I already had done some of them here and there, but the extent of my knowledge of the game was pretty small. I knew of the main cast, and of course Dangerous Ariana because of this contest.

To be fair it's actually two games that have some significant cast overlap but some unique to each. I know most of them from War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius which is actually a pretty good game with a decent story for a mobile game that runs off a FFT like engine. I mostly like it because it doesn't waste your time and has a million different skip/background play functions to let you keep progressing your dudes without spending a lot of real time with the game and that there is a lot of character growth packed into the system (probably too much at this point it wasn't newbie friendly). I definitely had a few characters from WotV in till like Top 30ish with many wins.

(normal FFBE , the one with Dangerous Arianna, is not so good and I havent touched in years)

Finally got around to finishing it. That took a bit! I knew most of the Brave Exvius characters which probably made it take longer. Edward and Fighter kinda snuck in (not terrible picks though) but otherwise don't hate the top 10. Sephiroth murdered most of the snubs like Rikku Sabin and Vanille-- I should have let him win. Not sure why I went with Genesis with the swerve win I just felt like he was fighting harder opponents than X-Death who was mostly just eating fodder. But yeah it was fun. Honestly think the 8 that didn't sneak in are probably actually in the top 10.
