I think she knew that, and I know you might understand that too. The state she was in, and trying to make sense of how to protect your well being and help you let go. Perhaps she was wrong, but I'm leaning to believe she was trying with the best intentions.

I saw my dad lose it when my grandma died. He dropped everything to help keep her alive, and it still affects me + my mom + my uncle + my brothers' living situation. She seemingly decided to go when my dad finally had to fly back here for a bit.

Album overall came with a nice sound. They try to still make some nods to their whole...aespa thing, but it seems a little removed from the forefront of what they try to push with their image. Time will tell how that serves if it keeps trending that way.

For the most part I'd give it a pass for being a rushed fan service.

But they already did pretty decent with the visual effects, and choreography...that it's a bit of a sore thumb to see how dumbed down the arc and character development was. I could give some of the hollow lines a pass because that's really in MMPR spirit, though.

It was still cool to see overall. Walter really holding it down there. Dude hardly ages. Would like to believe he did his own stunts but he's also over 50.

Working in retail before, I've been in that bullshit situation where we're short staffed, and there's literally no way of helping the fact people will have to wait.

So there's degrees in which I try to make a read as a customer:
Mistakes happen/or they're observably in a difficult situation at the store
Benefit of the fact they're going through shit. Unlike professional news anchors and stuff, it's not like some min wage worker has had the training or expectations of having a display of minimally-faltered composure.

My leniency ends if they're consciously just being stupid or I revisit the store and they're on the same shit multiple times in a row. I haven't been shorted what I paid for necessarily, so my response has been just not going back to that store.

Chorus comes off a bit better in a performance.
That stationary moment in the choreography on the last chorus was cool.
Took more notice of how the adlibs are trading off on the bridge. Little surprised Giselle appears to be doing that falsetto when it switches to Winter, but it's kinda lame they hide her in the back while doing so.

Although FWD is lame-o IRL, this car was ridiculously manipulative because of all the traction it had. Front tapering was also good to launch some higher cars.

Gran Turismo 1:
Mitsubishi GTO '95 MR
Pretty much every LM variant. The imagination and meta they tried to create without having exotic car licenses was something of its time for me. Things like Maximum Tune, Initial D and stuff made more sense to me. I think the franchise has grown well, but nothing can recapture what they did here in a very limited and unheard of space.

Ridge Racer Type 4:
Assoluto Bisonte in the RTS livery (title car). Not a fast car but the aesthetic and cinematic portrayal really did something for me as far as envisioning Italian sports cars in silver. The livery kinda became memorable in that right.

From then on, much of the vehicle-based games I've played were in the Gran Turismo series. It sorta became a wash for the most part because that game became a sandbox to use cars as tools moreso than pick a favorite for the most part.

Standouts:

Gran Turismo 5:
Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 the Toscana special event was pretty much as "Need For Speed" esque as the game would get.

The Ferrari F40 is my favorite car of all time, but for some reason I just can't come to wanting to mess with it too much. In Gran Turismo 7, it's as good as it's ever been, but I think it's a "meet your heroes" problem and I don't want to see it fall in my lap time charts.

Seems like there's a lack of direction with MJ's aethetic in the game. Like I think we'll all have to get past the "she's not that hot" aspect and wonder why the hell her hair and makeup were in a clear direction of making her look 40.

I'm not sure how the fast passes work now, but at least up until late 2019 with the app, I easily had my way. Granted, it mainly works if your party is very able-bodied, but even if I wasn't...."Power Riding" things repeatedly, I could line things up to do things at relaxed convenience. It's just crazy to me that people are going to wait in the 2-hour line.

Yeah Fast Passes are/were a money grab, but you're spending an asinine amount of money (as someone who has a soft spot for Disneyland) to get in the park already. Can't blame the park anymore.

I don't want to get priced out of Disneyland, but I also didn't want it to become people's trash oasis. It seems regardless, people with money can also act like the true bottom of society. I'm sure some season passholders are also over-welcoming themselves.

My frustration for the people who work their butts off to experience it the first time with their kids make it pleasant for everyone else. As an adult, Disneyland is a very lavish expense, but you do it for your kids to experience that kind of separation from reality before the (momentary) materialism and crap starts to develop.

Bruce had trained with Ra's Al Ghul, in some instances actually experienced the Lazarus pit, also trained with Kyodai Ken. This is before running down his resume of wins and absurd plot armor.

This is just too extreme of a comparison. I probably would've done John Wick or Jason Statham instead of Bruce.

I'm a dummy when it comes to gun models, believe the leftovers I got from my dad were a .357 and 44 magnum. He always advocated keeping a revolver bottom line because they're less sophisticated.

I'd give it like a 9 out of 10. I think the biggest charm is that there's things I'm not sure I agree with creatively, but never derails the enjoyment of the game.

Not sure about you, but for some reason all my Nature Valley Crunchy bar wrappers specifically don't tear like normal. It's like pulling tape apart, like it peels instead of cleanly splits or tears.

But my word after all these years I can't find a reliable way to eat them without them exploding after every bite. I always have to eat them over a paper towel to collect the debris.

What kind of car, KaZooo?

Honda CR-V Hybrid

Traded in a Civic I had for a bit more than a year, which I really liked (current 11th gen ). I don't like the idea of trading early, but it really looked like life wasn't going to change if I didn't do it. This "slot" in my car rotation is meant for my mom to use groceries, hospital, uncle's dialysis visits, prescription pickups, moving junk, and generally getting around town without having to worry about ground clearance and garbage roads.

You'd think a literal Civic should be fine to beat around in, but older people having to climb out of cars is a thing. Being relatively more careful/strategic with packing gets to be a hassle too. It's also not hard to get close to bottoming out in some areas. So some of those tasks I mentioned, I had to do for her instead.

The Civic was a top Sport Touring Trim, so I also had OCD in keeping it nice, which I guess paid off in trading in towards this CR-V.

The CR-V Hybrid wasn't available to me at the time I got the Civic, which was a car needed on short notice at the time because my other car was totaled (and finally repaired earlier this year).

This year was ok. Major step was getting some better lights because last year this fat ass bush was blocking the lit doorway from the angle most people would approach, so like nobody thought we were active.

Thankfully not the same problem this year. I could've used more candy, actually.

Some kids arrived with full buckets, but some still a little bare. It looked like the neighborhood wasn't too active. I get that safety is becoming a rising issue everywhere, and people are getting old, but I grew up in this neighborhood and it was more active.

Costumes were cool. The influence our generation still keeps some themes of old Jason, Nightmare Before Christmas, simple stuff like pirates. One thing I noticed more this year is girls wearing male character Spider-Man costumes. I think it's especially cool seeing the Miles costume because the character has been developing into much more than a simply being a token/spinoff character.

I don't quite see myself being to go hard on decorations, but I'm definitely looking to refine my simple lighting, which may be a case of getting more to cover more area properly.

I guess I reached that point in life where I believe there's some obligation to the next generation. It is a bit going out of my way, but it's not like they can transfer to an entirely different neighborhood on a Tuesday night, where many houses close shop by 9pm (at least that's how I knew it growing up).

Have to see the grandparents around TG week. Grandpa ain't doing so well.

Otherwise I've gone pretty slim financially. Traded up for a bigger car. Just looking forward to being more minimal in principle, not just because I have to.

This was put together pretty well imo. The OEC tie in was nice. I particularly like that they went with giving her a younger sound/theme/aesthetic vs trying to sell her more towards the mature/adult angle off the bat. She's a veteran in the industry but still young in reality.

The album overall runs nice too, including the intro.
