I've done every side gig available now and I'm ~~in Peter's head with Mister Negative.~~ I think the first half of the game was a solid 10/10 experience but the second half is an 8/10. I'm still enjoying it but the pacing is all over the place. Also I think my gadgets are recharging way slower than they used to ever since I got a certain skill upgrade. Smashingpmkns 10/31/23 9:35:36 PM #216:	Finally beat the game and 100% the missions (didn't platinum yet tho). Ngl I think the second half of the game just didn't feel as polished as the first half. A lot of the combat scenarios were wonky and the final boss battle was meh. Still an 8/10 game tho and don't regret the price point. Played for 30 hours, got my time with it and had a blast for the most part. I think the Miles Morales game was overall a better experience tho (imo 10/10 game) mostly because of how tight it was. It didn't over stay it's welcome. By the beginning of the third act here I was about ready to put the controller down. Side missions weren't as meaty or interesting. Story felt a bit rushed. Gadgets are massively cut down and less interesting. A number of minor but annoying bugs (at this very moment, crimes are disappearing whenever I approach them so I can't finish this combat achievement). They also cut some nice albeit minor things that were in the previous games. As much as they infuriated me, I was kind of looking forward to what kind of traversal challenges they'd have with the web wings, so the Mysteriums all being combat challenges was kind of lame. There's no collection to relisten to the podcasts. In MM, you could use the app to manually trigger crimes which would make my current achievement situation much less annoying. This is easily my favorite super hero game of all time, surpassing the Arkham series (specifically Arkham City) and the 2018 original. Its not perfect, and it definitely has a couple of issues, mainly QoL stuff that I hope they patch later (stuff like changing time of day, collections for podcasts, being able to change symbiote tendril colors, mission/bases replay etc), and that gadgets were way better in the first (I miss web bombs and suspension matrixes the most). But as a sequel it completely surpassed my expectations, and I had HUGE expectations coming from the last two games. Traversal and combat were all huge steps up, as well as story missions, side content, and boss fights. Even small things that I did not expect to be worked on at all got improved, like Spider-Bot and the science mini games (corrupted atom models and elemental tiles), super fun stuff that I wish the game had more of actually. Maybe DLC will have more Spider-Bot or science puzzles. Looking forward to the NG+ update so I can play through the game in Ultimate difficulty with all the suits I unlocked that I barely used, as I mostly use canon suits only on first playthroughs (Advanced 2.0 and Symbiote/Anti Venom only for Peter, Upgraded and Evolved only for Miles). <cite>DavidZ2844 posted [p:977007059] in Spider-Man...
