I watched the first couple of episodes and the show is definitely not glorifying him so far. Nearly every person he meets throughout his life calls him a weirdo or laughs at him. It's far from flattering for Dahmer.

Google has been shooting itself in the foot with all their services they've been killing off. When Stadia was first announced many tech news articles already expressed doubts about the longevity of this project. Which probably led to fewer users actually buying it ...which led to it actually being cancelled.

Youtube has removed public access to the dislike data. There's a browser plugin that counts its own dislike ratio from its own users, and scales that number up according to the public numbers.

It's safe to say the sort of person who goes out of their way to install a plugin to dislike youtube videos, are more likely to dislike them than the average user. So these plugin users are not a representative sample of the total audience.

There are browser extensions for it. Google basically just lazily ripped out the "show the number" part of the code so it is pretty accurate as well (though there is a bit of glitchy funk as depending on random caching it might drop the dislikes down to 0 until it recaches the video).

This was only the case for a few weeks. Dislike was removed from the public API about a month after the button disappeared. The plugin did scrape and archive the old numbers, but videos uploaded after Dec 13th 2021 only have estimates based on the plugin users itself.

So what's different about this show? I haven't seen it but I've seen multiple complaints about it.

I mean, I get the arguments itt that the victims' families might not be happy reliving it. I can see that. But this is hardly the first tv show to pay attention to Dahmer. Netflix has a ton of content on true crime and serial killers. What does this show do that warrants more criticism than all the others?

My dude, you completely misread the article you posted. It is calling Covid *A* leading cause among young people and children, not *THE* leading cause. Nowhere does it say it's the #1 cause like you claimed earlier.

If you look at the tables at the end where the leading causes are further split up into age groups, Covid isn't in the top 3 of any of the age groups mentioned.

Quite the nerve to talk about other people's reading comprehension when you're having trouble with this.
