(9)Birth of a God... my second fave battle theme in the game, and it has the greatest beat in a battle theme EVER. (yay for hemiola/bass piano) Close call, though.
(4)Fight On!.... I hate to see stuff like Highwind move on. Meanwhile, Aeris' Theme and Bombing Mission will likely fall. Uematsu's battle themes have a tendency to improve immensely in the second half. I especially love how the loop for Fight On! wraps up with that brief ascending/descending line. I'm a sucker for melodies that accompany themselves. I expect the 3-seed to win this with ease, though.
