All my non-Kirby noms except Starting Over received a support at some point...I guess that counts for something. Gravity Man, having personally failed twice to get it into contests, qualified for this one! We have our first Unlimited Saga track in VGMC! Even if I didn't support it... Final Fantasy XIII-2 got something in for the first time since VGMC7! Great soundtrack. EDIT: Oh, yeah... we have our first PMD emotional theme to get into VGMC! It's not anywhere near my top choice, but that's okay. Haste's Notable Failures: My failing to show up for the mad rush at the end of noms.... I just didn't feel like doing it this year. No regrets about that, except for.... MAD BISCARSH's failure. (would have doubled it, but oh well) NFUN thinking FFX's Challenge only plays during the Yunalesca battle, when in fact it also plays during the Seymour Flux battle. My fantastic failure of my Kirby-themed day, yielding one support across five tracks! Poor Assaults of Mother Cluster landing on the bubble and getting cut.... ;_; I am now 0/5 on PSO2 tracks, though one of them got in when re-nominated. But it's also a bad year for PSO... nothing got in this year. EDIT: I forgot about Battle - f8 One Who Stands Against God's failure to get in the bracket, too.... damn. --- "Ah, a party! Years have past since Seymour Battle retired, and I honestly haven't thought about Challenge since then. So, yeah, it was a pleasant surprise to see an old forgotten favorite get nominated. Also, it just occurred to me today that some Kirby nominators might be unhappy about my "flooding" the nom topic with Kirby music (nevermind that I don't consider it flooding). Just to keep things in perspective... We only had four Kirby nominations on day 1 this contest (last I checked). VGMC XVI had 14 Kirby songs nominated. In VGMC XVI, Kirby music was nommed/supported by 25 people. Twenty-five from that contest alone (and I wasn't even one of them....)! It's not like all the Kirby noms/supports get spread around by only few people. Yeah, maybe I could cause some Kirby song to fail (I think it's more likely for the reverse to occur!), but that's how VGMC is-- every VGMC has lots of nomination conflicts. I did miss one already happen earlier that it's kinda too late to take back now (Haste's Blue Desert Hotel) but I would say you can drop it but renomming something else straight up breaks the rules about the five nom limit. That being said, there is very good chance I will revive Karma at some point lololol A certain somebody was acting less than ideal about my nominating it, so I withdrew Blue Desert Hotel to satisfy that person. Sorry, I should have waited on Danger! For some reason, I thought people had done it in the past.... I guess not really. To make up for it, I will only nominate four songs on Day 2!
