Kirby-themed Day 2! =D You might be wondering why I would do such an unimaginative theme? Because I explored every Kirby soundtrack last year! <( '.' )> I sure hope something here makes it in....

Also, it just occurred to me today that some Kirby nominators might be unhappy about my "flooding" the nom topic with Kirby music (nevermind that I don't consider it flooding). Just to keep things in perspective... We only had four Kirby nominations on day 1 this contest (last I checked). VGMC XVI had 14 Kirby songs nominated. In VGMC XVI, Kirby music was nommed/supported by 25 people. Twenty-five from that contest alone (and I wasn't even one of them....)! It's not like all the Kirby noms/supports get spread around by only few people. Yeah, maybe I could cause some Kirby song to fail (I think it's more likely for the reverse to occur!), but that's how VGMC is-- every VGMC has lots of nomination conflicts. So please don't boycott me...

Yeah, agree with the above. I did miss one already happen earlier that it's kinda too late to take back now (Haste's Blue Desert Hotel) but I would say you can drop it but renomming something else straight up breaks the rules about the five nom limit.

That being said, there is very good chance I will revive Karma at some point lololol

A certain somebody was acting less than ideal about my nominating it, so I withdrew Blue Desert Hotel to satisfy that person. Sorry, I should have waited on Danger! For some reason, I thought people had done it in the past.... I guess not really.

To make up for it, I will only nominate four songs on Day 2! I'm glad you said something because I would have nominated five songs again otherwise...

The best one in my mind, to this day, is Vivi > Mario > Ganondorf... maybe not super iconic, but it was such a massive upset I just have to vote for it. The second best is Missingno > Crono, for the sheer hilarity of having a glitch in a contest, but I'm not sure how iconic the upset is, either, and I couldn't fit it in. I think StarCraft > Wind Waker was a more iconic upset than SC > Halo as at least a lot of beat thought it SC would beat Halo. Not so with Wind Waker..... only a few thought it would do it. Not to mention...mass carriers and that big rally.

The thing about bumping up from six to seven noms to lock is this: there's going to be a lower qualifying threshold in the post-lock part of noms than if we had stayed at six, so for guys like KCF, it might not be so bad.
