It's honestly impressive how poorly he controls in the 2D sections, but you USUALLY aren't punished too hard for minor mistakes, so I don't care that much.

It was an enjoyable player experience. Yeah, the plot is dumb and the villain is edgy, but it's a Sonic game, I wasn't exactly expecting any different. It's not fantastic like Sonic Mania, but I'd put it above Generations.
