Their defense went from one of the worst in the league to one of the best, their offensive production didn't actually change much. Obviously not turning the ball over so much was a big part of that but there are plenty of QBs who could've come in and not toss 30 picks with their surrounding talent

Football is so position specific, that's it's literally impossible to say who the "best" football player is.

Can Lamar Jackson pass block?

Can Patrick Mahomes stop the run?

As opposed to a sport like basketball. Regardless of what position you need to fill, from PG to Center, you can put "the best basketball player" at any of the five positions, and they will still play like the best player on the court.

There are plenty of plays where the line doesnt block at all, and Lamar Jackson just runs past everyone and throws a touchdown pass.

Bro come on. Jameis threw 33TDs and 30 interceptions in 2019.

Brady threw 40TDs to 12 interceptions. Thats 18 more possessions given away and drives killed. Interceptions also sway momentum heavily.

It is 1000% false to act like Brady didnt make a massive difference.

Until you consistently win in the postseason, you will not be considered the best.

You can say he's the most talented, most athletic, maybe. But the moniker of "best" is reserved for players that succeed.
