I'm not saying you're wrong, it's still a very conditional strength, but it might be stronger than jaina? I feel like every time jaina comes out the game plan stops being "winning the game" and starts being "how can I get minions to 1 HP so I can summon a 3/6".

The plot on 12 definitely slows to a crawl for a few sections and I can totally relate to struggling to keep going, but all in all I'd say it's worth the finish.

If this topic is serious then you should probably have this discussion with your family. If the father is already being ruled out of the question then any possibility of raising a child is going to come with the support of your relatives. But it would also probably involve taking at least a semester off. Depending on your due date you could possibly finish your fall classes and then take a break in the spring, and if it's your senior year you could finish up next fall or the following spring. But again, that depends on an environment where you are going to have help from family. I don't know enough about you or your situations to really weigh in and this isn't the kind of decision we can't make for you. But I can pray that things will work out for the best.

I feel like any time an arena player drafts 3 copies of a card its going to catch the opponent off guard. More so if its epics. I'm in the midst of a mage run right now where I drafted 3 meteors. One game I won because I hadn't drawn them all game, then when I really needed them I knew there were 3 in my last 10 cards. Sure enough, topdecked 2 in a row.

I know. And I know that oozes in general are more common now. Even leading up to that game I've had multiple weapons either broken with the acidic swamp ooze or had charged removed by the red ooze whose name I forget. But that still typically gave me 2 charges per vine cleaver even if one charge got ooze'd, or at least the 2nd (3rd, 4th, 5th) weapon can go unchecked.


It's also just the fact that his 3 oozes destroyed 4 charges of 4 damage swings, prevented 8 1/1 dudes from spawning, and prevented 3 more damage of 5 damage swings.

The swing damage alone from that is 31 damage.
Oh and he gained 13 armor. That's a 44 health swing (even ignoring the 8 1/1s that didn't survive)
And he finished with 2 health and 4 armor.

All this happening after I correctly identified that it was time to end the game and that there was no realistic way he could prevent enough face damage to stay alive.




But it's okay, i'm getting equally screwed in my current run (3-2 atm) so the new pain is already causing yesterdays old pain to fade.

Okay but you need to understand that your anecdotal experience is not representative of the vast majority with regard to paper placement.

Nor is your stance on guns applicable in a world where guns exist and are legal.


I would prefer stricter requirements on gun registration and ownership, sure. But within the framework of the actual world we are actually living in that hasn't happened yet. And so you can't judge a cops actions but your hypothetical standards. If he were in a situation where he could not safely proceed before back up arrived then that's all there is to it.

Nah, you shouldn't keep those papers under the seat. Nor should you expect to be able to reach under there without first telling the cop that it is where you keep your papers (for some reason).


But idk why the cop couldn't just get him to show his hands and exit the vehicle in less than 10 minutes.

This just seems like another sign that tensions are too high right now.

I am not often at a loss at the end of a Hearthstone game, but once again I find myself in such a situation.


I was playing arena with a 7-2 paladin deck. It's far from the best deck ever (only 1 spikeridge steed), but i drafted 5 weapons and they were all seeing pretty good use and were helping to carry me to victory.

I run into a warlock and i'm on board early and he's wasting his early turns life tapping. By turn 5 I have a stranglethorn tiger hiding and I've got 2 vine cleavers in hand and I"m ready to start racing to end this game. He's shown no realistic ability to handle my board and to stop me from connecting face a bunch of times for the win.


So my first vine cleaver hits him in the face, summons 2 dudes and my tiger hits face as well. He's pretty low at that point (12 hp?) and he doesn't have much of a board.


He plays gluttonous ooze.

Ouch, my vine cleaver is dead (wasting 2 charges) and he gains 4 armor.

But it's okay! I have another vine cleaver, I also have a tirion in hand that I discovered from stonehill defender.


So I play tirion. He uses some spell + minions to clear it.

And then he plays gluttonous ooze.

Ashbringer down. He gains 5 armor and I got to use 0 charges of it. This bites. My tiger connected face at least once more during this and I still think I can finish the job because he's having to trade most of what board he has at this point, but i'm running out of steam.


so I play my other vine cleaver, hit him in the face, summon 2 dudes, and take him to 2ish health with still 2 more charges of vine cleaver swings.

HE PLAYS A THIRD GLUTTONOUS OOZE.


May I REMIND YOU that this is an EPIC CARD that you will not often draft INFINITY copies of. Nor will you necessarily have them ALL READY TO GO IN YOUR HAND IN THE FIRST HALF OF YOUR DECK.


Such a demoralizing loss -_-


But 180g is still nice, even though I feel like I got cheated from my 8th win.


At least I still have 1 free arena run left, hopefully I can get another deep run. But ugh who the hell drafts 3 gluttonous oozes and is able to get PERFECT value on all of them?

Indeed.

Grand Jury doesn't need "proof and evidence of guilt beyond a reasonable doubt".

Guilt and innocence has nothing to do with it at that stage. It merely needs a "evidence enough to warrant a trial to begin with".


And it would be pretty shocking with the wealth of evidence available if they were not able to at least make a case to start a trial at this point.

I'm not familiar with the term, but we definitely have a few in my city in california. They are small drive-thru only coffee shops where the baristas are apparently required to wear bikinis. I've never been to either (I hate coffee and even if I didn't I wouldn't want to pay more just to have it served to me by a woman in a bikini), but they certainly exist.

That sounds pretty good.

Ive gone through the catch mechanic math in great detail. Ive gone through it enough to know that I've been completely ****ed by RNG this week.


15 Articuno attempts.

Average 7-8 ball per encounter.

I am always patient to make sure i connect.
I always use curve balls because that bonus is better than even the "great throw" bonus.

I have the full bonus for flying (modifier 1.3)
I have the bronze bonus for ice (modifier 1.1)
That averages to a 1.2 modifier.

1.2 (type modifier) x 2.5 (golden razz) x 1.5 (approx average great bonus) x 1.7 (curve ball).

7.65 which you multiply be catch rate. It used to be 2 on Articuno which gave a 15.3% chance per throw. It is now 3 which gives 22.95% chance per throw.


But let's assume only 7 balls using the old catch rate.

7 chances with a 15.3% chance to succeed. 84.7% chance to fail.

The chance of failing 7 times in a row is 31.27%. So the chance to succeed in the scenario ive outlined is 68.73%.


Ive attempted Articuno 15 times and only got 2. Thats with never missing and always curving.

I will get 2 more free attempts on Sunday but I'm saving my premium passes for the next birds.

Yeah, Lugia and Articuno are now "live" and can appear as raid bosses at gyms now.

I was at work all day yesterday but I saw lots of people on facebook posting locations of legendary raid battles in fresno. Some people very happy because they took home the legendary, and others very sad that even though they KO'd the pokemon, they weren't able to capture it afterwards.
