Not really important when they're at 10 mana and you're at 5.

Did an Arena where I was offered Nzoth on pick 2 and pick 4. Which was then promptly followed by being offered only 1 deathrattle card for rest of draft (loot hoarder).

Think I'm going to give Arena a rest for a while. Drafting terribly and doing shit.

Have 7k dust so maybe I'll play some constructed. Have DK Jaina and And gin but don't really want to use those. Might make Rexxar as it looks fun at least

I've had 2 6-win druid runs in a row, last one could have gone further, but I made a bonehead decision to go face instead of kill his questing adventurer. Who he then proceeded to clone and give "deathrattle: Summon a copy of this minion" dude had 2 life left, but then played mindbreaker cutting me off from pinging him, he had a full board, my only hope was drawing bite or swipe, got neither.

I've had relative success with arena since the expansion, though I've only done a half dozen.

8 win Priest
10 win Priest
3 win Mage
8 win Druid
9 win Paladin
7 win Warlock

Druid can operate just fine without innervate. I'm not saying the card doesn't make a difference -- all the cards that get run do -- but I can make a druid deck that plays just fine without it...which is what happens to your deck every time you don't draw it.

Basic cards will never be in the Hall of Fame

Could they be nerfed? That's a different story (and has happened before often). But yeah I don't see it and when Blizzard did the Druid nerfs a year ago it was clear they wanted wild growth and innervate to be defining cards that shaped its identity

It, Gelbin, and Murk Eye were all promotion cards that moved to Wild in 2016. Hall of Fame is relatively new for 2017. They just couldn't find a place to put them all so they're classified as Hall of Fame

Ohhh I see. I had read that golden ETC was promotion only, had no idea anything was special about regular ETC and those other 2 cards.

Just had a priest at like 5 health and he plays double radiant and lyra. I have no removal in hand but I drop a strong board down. Next turn he plays priest of the feast, clears my board and fully heals his hero. Oh and he made his lyra a 12/12 or something.

DK Anduin getting Shadow Word HorrorDeath as a battlecry, and then a tommy gun afterwards makes him very hard to approach without a whole flight of Primordial Drakes.

I've been playing more priest and it's reminding me why i didnt play highlander to begin with.
If like your carry cards are at the bottom of your deck you lose in mirrors. Had a match where my opponent played like ass and won because he played Raza on 5 and I didn't draw mine (2 cards left in my deck the other being PWS).

Like had another match where I drew Raza almost on curve and had shadowreaper on turn 8. Won easily. I didn't even play well.

With 3,2XX dust left, is it worth it to craft Pyros and Geddon for Elemage? I'm probably playing the deck either way, just not sure if they're worth the investment or if the deck is just as good without them.

It's either those two or the Warlock and Hunter heroes, though I haven't really put any thought into what those decks would look like so I don't know if there's anything particularly important I'd need for them after the fact.

Reno Geddon is pretty much a must have from what I've seen.

Pyros seems pretty bad though.

glad jade druids list is pretty much the exact same, means I can keep playing without much effort. though it feels dirty even if I enjoyed the deck as soon as it came out

The Geist keeps finding its way near the bottom of my deck when I go up against Jade Druids.

Just lost to a priest without taking a single point of damage from a card that didn't start the game in my deck.

Arena #2 (Cont.)

Game 5: Vs Hunter. I went First. Fairly weak opener. Luckily his was not that great either. I panicked and played my Hellfire too early. Very likely a misplay. Topdecked Abyssal Enforcer on 7 anyway. Bonemare carried the lategame. Definitely a case where I just got lucky and was rewarded for subpar play. Win.

Game 6: Vs Warrior. I went Second. Got absolutely fucked by a Darkscale Healer on curve to restore all of his high health minions for insane value. Opponent continued to be insanely lucky and I had a zero percent chance of winning. Guess this was my punishment for the previous game. Loss.

Game 7: Vs Druid. I went Second. Had a strong opening hand this time. My opponent ramped? Into Tar Creeper? Weird. I never see this kind of thing in arena. He played a pretty interesting Keening Banshee and managed not to burn any cards. I stabalized at 1 health for quite a while and then he just topdecked ultimate infestation anyway. Loss.

Final score: 4-3

Pretty shitty end to what started off as a fairly interesting arena run!

Got a pack and 80 gold.

Yea Jaina DK is pretty good. It's crazy how many elementals you can actually spawn with the hero power.

70 point rating for a common card, only slightly worse than the amazing flame geyser which is also a common card

Mage really needed the help, glad they can finally be a good arena class

Who knew Young Dragonhawk's greatest contribution to the game of Hearthstone would be as half of a zombeast.

My favourite creation so far though is the Knuckles/Stranglethorn Tiger hybrid. 10 mana 8/12 with stealth that always hits face. The turn after it had spell immunity and Houndmaster buff.

Yes! The fun with zombeast never stops. Last night I had a glorious bloatbat snail against a jade druid who was out of removal.

After going on a losing streak and getting frustrated with my deck, I made a different hunter deck without n'zoth and putricide that uses arcane giants. Had a lot of fun even though it's probably questionable in terms of viability. It was pretty satisfying to out-giant a handlock.

I put in ice walker in my freeze mage list, I'm actually a big fan so far. He's a great early game soft-taunt, especially against classes that want to attack themselves to create value (Looking at you, eaglehorn bow). Late game his value obviously falls off but he does at least retain some usefulness as opposed to some normal 2 drop. Best of all people don't expect it so far I think, so like especially against mage if they turn 2 arcanologist, they have to either watch their minion get pinged to 0 or use a frostbolt to get rid of the walker.

I was also experimenting with kabal lackey, but I think I'm gonna switch him out with mana wyrm instead, due to druid running rampant right now.

Also, the only 2 DKs I haven't played against yet are uther and garrosh. Kinda depressing as I think Uther's ability is a cool one.

shaman can use overload to flip a board for cheap if necessary, and can run sticky minions to make sure they'll have something to evolve next turn.

I'm not saying you're wrong, it's still a very conditional strength, but it might be stronger than jaina? I feel like every time jaina comes out the game plan stops being "winning the game" and starts being "how can I get minions to 1 HP so I can summon a 3/6".

I wish the death knights didn't have these expensive stuational battle cries tbh. I wanna play it asap and get my cool hero and hero power, not sit around waiting for the right mana or board state.

I feel like I don't get to play it often or early enough.

Question: What's the validity of mindbreaker right now? With all the DK stuff running around it feels like almost all of them have their gimmick reside in their hero power, I would think that a direct counterplay to that would be more popular.
