Yeah with only $5 DOGE is probably your best bet, but I'm almost exclusively gonna recommend ETH right now.

ETH is about as high as it's ever been, you think it's still on the rise? Since i don't plan on using Coinbase I just want to move the $5 about to take advantage to temporary rises and falls.

If nothing else, widespread vaccination will allow AMC to fully reopen theaters later this year or early next and see a sizable bump, and the current situation has insulated them from the prospect of bankruptcy so I agree AMC feels like the smart money. Either crazy WSB things happen and you turn a quick buck, or you forget about the money for awhile and a predictable recovery from AMC makes it worth while anyways.

I put in an order for amc on Friday after hours, to be made first thing on Monday

And the price rose above the number i set over the weekend so i own none

That's actually good, AMC just dipped (below 14 currently) so you are in better position to buy now than you would have been when it opened at 16.

This is the exact realization they want you to make. Make no mistake the entire purpose of this clearly astroturfed movement is to rile up the masses and create a liquidity crisis. I don't understand this post at all.

All I was saying is that even if you can't directly "blame" RH for their "only sell, no buy" position, there is still a problem that needs to be addressed if this can be allowed to happen.

Even if the "truth" is that "clearing houses have infinite money tied up so it becomes too expensive to buy stocks" that doesn't change the fact that a fundamental flaw with the system has been discovered in this. People are not being allowed to spend their own money on something that they want to buy with their money. And it isn't that it's "sold out", it's just middle-man fuckery that has somehow created a situation where the stocks can be SOLD but not BOUGHT which can predictably only impact the market it one way.

Even if you have to give RH a pass because it isn't their "fault" in the most direct sense, the system is still borked for this to have occurred at all.

Person B's long term intentions are very relevant as well.

If I firmly believe that a stock is undervalued and will recover (maybe because there is a pandemic causing issues that won't last forever) then I might buy a stock with the idea that it will be worth something in a couple years. And it might vary a bit between now and then but I'm in it for the long hall because I'm confident in the eventual recovery effect.

If someone wants to pay me to borrow that stock for a few months then that's basically free money if that same stock was just going to be collecting dust during that same time.

That's easy to say and hard to do. Even if you got in low the temptation to realize the gains in front of you is going to be strong.

If you got in for sub 30 you have a 10x gain staring you in the face that might simply be gone if you wait too long.

Going from this scenario to your smooth experience buying/selling stocks are why the middlemen are useful.

But the stock and money still change hands as a part of this process to the point that each party has either the stock they bought or the money they got afterwards.

So where is the middleman liability?

But is it the volume that is the problem?

Or just the time it takes for the funds and stocks to properly change hands?

How is it something that's still an issue? From my perspective I pick a stock, I spend money to buy the stock, now I have the stock to do with what I please including selling the stock again. I could turn around in half an hour and sell the stock I just bought and the trade would go through and then someone else will have the stock. So what part of my original trade is unresolved? I received the stock, someone else received the money for the stock. The person who got the money could in some cases immediately withdraw and use the money. So how is it that there is a middleman with a seemingly infinite amount of debt(?) while both the buyer and the seller have moved on with their lives.

I saw a thread on reddit about getting around the Robin Hood limitations via contracts:
https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/l82y7u/how_to_buy_gme_above_broker_limits/

I don't have enough knowledge to know if this is a good idea or if you are overpaying this way, but it makes it sound like it's an opportunity for people who still have resources tied up in RH to stay in on the action without waiting.

And when a large portion of the players are only allowed to sell it will cause the price to go down. Which can then scare others into selling when they see the price dropping. Negative feedback loop ensues. Or at least that's what they wanted to happen with their naked manipulation.

4th - Lich Bazh'hial
2nd - Lich Bazh'hial
4th - Lich Bazh'hial
2nd - Dancin' Deryl
2nd - Patches The Pirate
7th - Captain Eudora
7th - Captain Eudora
1st - Kael'Thas
3rd - Captain Eudora

I was glad to get the KT win before bed, but I'd realllllly like to get a Eudora 1st so I never have to pick her again. I've been playing more volatile strategies than I otherwise would until get my 1st place with everyone so every run has felt pretty risky. And thus far I've been unable to get more than 1 or 2 Hogger no matter how many rolls i've taken on 5. "I have 2 hogger, there are no murlocs in lobby, this should be a free win!", but the final piece just never falls into place so I can't go infinite.
