I went to a Catholic high school and we had both religion class (which wasnt even really about learning Bible verses but more about morality, and the subject was actually called Religious & Personal Formation) alongside human biology, where evolution was taught straight faced.US Catholic here and yes, we were taught about evolution and a bunch of other science.
