Google Meets is the absolute WORST as a teacher. Like...what were they THINKING!??! As a teacher hosting a Google meet, I do not have the ability to: mute everyone on entry or prevent students from presenting their own screens. I am also not able to have everyone booted from a meeting once it's been closed. Do you know how difficult it is trying to get 1st and 2nd graders to stay quiet in an online meeting?

Honestly, did anyone at Google think at all before about what tools a teacher would need to virtually host students? I know they are hoping teachers use it as their main video conferencing tool, because it's integrated into Google classroom. Ughhhh

Yep, not frequently though. The last buffet I ate at (and probably will too) was at the German pavilion in EPCOT. Was kinda surprised they still allowed guest to serve themselves since covid was just getting rampant and Disney world was actually shutting down in a few days.

I'm in the same boat as wolfy. It seems like ALL the local places by me no longer have their own delivery system and use a third party app which is so much more expensive. I always heard that door dash and grub hub and all those charged the restaurants too. So not sure why they can't just hire their own delivery boy and cut out the middle man.

Not personally. I'm a teacher and it just feels like I've had an extended summer. Not sure what's gonna happen in the fall though. I live in Texas and our governor was basically saying that students will be in the classroom in the fall so...we'll see.
