The only time I've had issues with neighbors was my upstairs neighbor would play her cello at like 1 in the morning. I spoke with her a couple of times about it but she said she played to "calm down" :|

I'm in Texas where everything is basically completely open. I think if percentage of hospitalizations stay above 15% by tomorrow (which will be seven days in a row it's been that high) new restrictions will be put in place.

Now if that actually happens or is enforced is completely up in the air.

The thing is though, this was my grandma on my father's side. I found out in high school that who I thought was my father growing up isn't actually my father at all. I have no idea who my biological father is. This has always caused a strain between my siblings and I, because I'm technically not full blood related to them.I always thought this would cause a wedge in my relationship with everyone on my father's side, I always felt like I was an imposter being around them after I found out..

Disregarding the fact that the man who I thought was my father was in fact not my father, we had a stained relationship as I grew up. This resulted in him kicking me out of his house when I was in high school and almost fifteen years on, I haven't spoken to him since. However despite the relationship between my father and I, I was very close to my grandparents on his side. I miss my grandma. I feel even more upset for my grandfather. I can't imagine what life is now like without the one person you spent with no longer by your side. Her funeral is on Saturday in New York but I'm too much of a chickenshit to go. Mostly because of covid, but partially because of my father being there. I have siblings in New York going, and my brother living with me in Texas is leaving tomorrow to go. No one's said anything but I feel they're disappointed in me.

Anyways, I know none of you know me here. I'm just venting. My grandma was a wonderful woman. She made the best stuffed artichoke and she would gladly welcome anyone into her home with a smile. No one would leave her home with an empty stomach. I miss her

I got my wife a tortilla blanket a few years ago for her birthday! Just an fyi it's a little small. Definitely a good blanket to throw over your shoulders but, I wouldn't lay in bed and use it to cover me.

I like the flavor, but the heat is pretty intense. It's probably not going to ruin your gut if you use it like a normal person. When I fucked up my gut I was poor and just eating tortillas with hot sauce on them and was using quite a lot of sauce. Secret Aardvark and the orange Yellowbird also contributed to my fucked up gut (probably more so, since I could handle more of their heat and thus used them more).

Does this stuff actually add flavor to food or just heat? I kinda hate when I use a really spicy hot sauce that adds nothing to the flavor of what I'm actually eating.

I'm not sure how you're planning on using it but I mostly use mine to read ebooks from my local library so memory isn't even an issue. But as others have said 8 gb is a couple thousand of books.

We do a white elephant each year, target has a lot of really cool, under $20 gifts. Some things we've gotten in the past include : a miniature drone, a plinko bottle opener, various bottles of booze...

I am buying candy to give out only because I have decorated my house for Halloween and it would be a dick move to decorate for Halloween but not have candy to give out... That being said despite living in a neighborhood with a middle school located in it we usually have super, super low numbers is trick or treaters. Last year we had four I think. I generally prefer short story collections, since horror tends to work better when it's short.

Definitely a lot more. I'm now a 6th grade English teacher and part of our curriculum is we read twenty minutes a day. So with my three classes I'm at least reading 60 minutes a day, I am reading so much. I love it.
