If true, I totally get why they'd drop her. One of them had her mouth accentuated to look like straight out of a minstrel show (ape-like). I shudder even typing this, and I wont share the pictures, you can look them up yourself. The name of the character was inspired by a song written for a minstrel show. Its disgusting and ridiculous to think that the only reason it can go this long without having been changed is because your average person (myself included) had no idea. I guess the only good to have come out of it was the model for the character (last name Green) was able to be financially successful and engage in a career of activism (please correct me if Im wrong but that is what I have heard about her).
