What the hell

Karate Island was one of my least favorite episodes as a kid. What particularly stood out to me was the guy selling timeshares at the end. I might've thought that was funnier if I was older and smarter, but I had no idea what was going on so it was anticlimactic and not very funny, and I think Spongebob was a jerk.

Besides that, the episode might have been deficient on hijinks due to the sparsity of characters and their isolation from each other.

Thats probably the first game I played where the protagonist did something legit immoral while you play as him (well, at least in the sense your objective in the game is to be an agent of good). I couldn't believe Cole Phelps did that to me.

Narrative wise she is a tool but also a complication for Light. That is her primary role, and I'd say she's a pretty static character.

The way Light treats her does inform us about how he thinks at least.
