That said, people going there to protest wearing rainbow stuff, I don't understand. The correct way to protest this is to not spend money traveling to Qatar and giving them your tourism dollars. Not showing up with a rainbow armband smug acting like you're the man. Qatar is laughing behind the scenes counting all the money they're getting from this. Yes I know its unrealistic to expect no one to go, but wearing rainbow stuff in Qatar as a way of saying "I showed them haha" is hollow as hell.
